I want to report this user. They’re intentionally trolling my thread, hijacking the conversation over the last 28 posts, and manipulating the vote count with fake engagement.
I’m asking the mods to step in and issue a sanction if necessary.
I’ve already flagged the specific posts using the exclamation point icon.

There’s zero need to start an entire new thread just to report someone. Just hit that little exclamation point button. That sends a notification to all the mods on this board, and they'll decide whether or not to take action based on their own judgment.

Why isn't anyone getting back to me?
This user reported trolls here, and from what I can see, they acted immediately and banned the rulebreaker.

Why can't I report this myself? Honestly, I feel like I should have more say since it's my thread. It seems like the mods haven't stepped in because I reported it directly to them, but if they aren't going to act, they should at least say why. I get that they might have missed it—I can't be online every single day—but if they're choosing not to respond, they should just say so. Otherwise, it looks like they're the ones breaking the site rules.
