Greetings.
If there are existing threads on this topic, please provide links, as my searches via Google have been unsuccessful.
The language barrier isn't the issue; rather, I am looking to connect with someone who possesses specialized expertise in this field.
I intend to conduct an in-depth investigation into actuators designed to produce haptic feedback when interacting with a touch display. Specifically, I am looking at technology that allows a user to feel as though they have physically depressed a mechanical button—such as a climate control knob in a vehicle—when, in reality, no such mechanism exists.
From my preliminary research, I understand that current solutions involve Linear Resonant Actuators (LRA), Eccentric Rotating Mass (ERM) motors, or alternatively, Piezo actuators.
As I am currently quite novice regarding this subject matter, I would appreciate any technical insights concerning the various methods for integrating these specific actuators behind a display panel.
Thank you. 🙂
