So, you stumble upon a troll. You go ahead and drop a post calling them out for being a troll.

Basically, what I'm asking is... is it actually allowed to tell someone they're a troll?

Or is that against the rules?

so, if anyone out there actually knows, I'd love to hear it.

It would have been a bit easier if you’d actually mentioned which PDF you were talking about, but I took a look anyway. According to the LJS rules, troll hunting is strictly prohibited. Also, reposting content that a moderator already deleted—and then commenting on the moderation itself—is against the rules too. I guess you managed to break three different rules across just two posts.

If this involves LJS, we don't go for that here—just report any post you suspect is from a troll.

Seriously, I wasn't trying to bring back a deleted post, and I wasn't making a thing out of the moderation.

I just made one post in one thread, and then a totally separate post in a different thread—the one where the troll was actually caught.

So, we're talking two distinct posts in two completely different threads. Same troll, though. 😁

So what you're saying is... it's against the rules to call someone out as a troll. Even when they're being as blatant as this guy.

It’s not just some single random post, either. It’s an entire string of them. We're talking basically the exact same message recycled over and over again across ten different topics😁

And they're dropping them all within five minutes of each other. Just total spam.🙂
