I’m looking for some clarification here—why exactly is this being flagged as trolling? My post was substantive... it actually added something to the conversation instead of just spinning wheels. It was simply pointing out that the person I was debating was blatantly ignoring a well-documented fact—and even the evidence I provided earlier—which, frankly, feels like they're just playing by a set of arbitrary rules...

Since this clearly wasn't an attempt to troll, I’d appreciate it if you could look into removing the points and the ban...

Nah, she's just going to spend the next few pages grilling you for links to prove your claim that Harris called Biden a rapist, yet you're still just trolling around with completely different topics...
You didn't get banned immediately, which is what usually happens with this stuff, but you just won't quit.

No, Kamala Harris never actually called Biden a rapist or said she believed those accusations—she said she believed the allegations regarding his inappropriate behavior, like touching or smelling hair and stuff like that.

To make matters worse, this is all being discussed after the point was already cleared up:

https://www.factcheck.org/2020/08/ha...t-or-a-rapist/

Contrary to claims in viral internet posts, Sen. Kamala Harris did not call former Vice President Joe Biden a “racist” or a “rapist.” Rather, she has been critical of Biden’s position on busing to integrate schools and comments he made about segregationist senators, and she has said that she believed women who accused Biden of making them feel uncomfortable.

Based on that, you can decide if Biden is a creep or if Kamala Harris is a hypocrite, whatever your take is on their current partnership, but the women she supported weren't accusing Biden of anything remotely close to rape.

You didn't get banned immediately—which usually happens for this kind of thing—but you certainly haven't backed down."

Sorry, but I think you’re getting ahead of yourself here. At no point in my posts did I mention rape.

I wrote www.forum.us/showthread.php?p=82907725: "Look, honestly, what bothers me most is how she accused Biden of racist behavior (bussing, etc.), alluded to him being a sexual predator, and now suddenly she's all sweet and congratulating old Joe on becoming president."

Then she replied at http://www.forum.us/showpost.php?p=8...postcount=1034: "A few of you have already said this, is there an actual link for these claims?"

So I responded at http://www.forum.us/showpost.php?p=8...postcount=1094: "I have them, and I have more than enough links for Trump's racist claims. Here, take your pick: https://www.reviewjournal.com/opinio...biden-2094638/"

And then she wrote at http://www.forum.us/showpost.php?p=8...postcount=1101: "So once again you're just giving me some text where you decide who wants what. I am asking you nicely, where has she ever actually accused Biden of anything, let alone said she believes accusations of rape? This whole thing is revolving around one single statement."

It is quite obvious that I never stated she accused him of rape—I am hardly responsible for the sudden shift in KatarinaRi's rhetoric after she was presented with proof that Kamala had indeed accused him of exactly what I wrote. If anyone deserves a reprimand, it’s KatarinaRi, for being so calculated about twisting the topic to suit her needs. My point was simply that she said she believes the women who accused Biden of whatever they accused him of. And those women accused him of inappropriate touching, which, in this modern #MeToo era, is widely considered sexual assault. Or are we just going to minimize the suffering of young women because they involve presidential candidates from the party we happen to favor?

Exactly—that is precisely what I was arguing, as I explained above. Except, apparently, inappropriate and unwanted touching (which involves much more than just hair—we're talking leaning in, grabbing shoulders, etc., so please don't try to trivialize or diminish it) doesn't count as sexual assault anymore. :)

First off, I don't need some fact-checking site to tell me what someone actually said. Secondly, that specific fact-check doesn't even apply to this situation. Like I said before, I never claimed he was accused of rape, nor did I say Kamala Harris stated she believed Biden was accused of rape. Regarding the racism aspect—well, obviously, she accused him of being a racist. Look, if you start by saying, "I do not believe you are a racist," and then immediately begin grilling that same person over things like supporting senators who backed segregationists or voting against integrated school buses for both Black and white children (which he eventually apologized for https://www.latimes.com/politics/la-...706-story.html)... that still counts as an accusation of racism. It just means you aren't foolish enough to attack a party favorite directly, especially when you know you’ll have to work with them later because, well, you're all part of the same establishment...

lonebadger6 said:Based on that, you can certainly think Biden is spineless, or that Kamala Harris is a hypocrite—whatever her current standing with him might be—but the women she supported haven't accused Biden of anything remotely resembling rape.

My take? The guy is a racist spineless hack, she’s a hypocrite and various other things, and I also happen to think you lack objectivity when deciding what constitutes trolling—you seem to hand out red cards quite impulsively and selectively. Feel free to exercise your own discretion and do whatever you want... honestly, I don't plan on checking back into this forum until Trump declares himself the winner anyway. ;)

That’s a shame, because I’d hate for us to lose touch entirely... you’ve always been a decent presence here, but I guess the election fever just got to you a little bit.
