Anyone catch that cheesy 80s flick on PBS last Friday afternoon? It’s basically a precursor to The Matrix, but man, I haven't seen that much psychedelia packed into one spot in ages. The plot is pretty out there—some programmer ends up inside a computer where sentient programs live under this totalitarian regime, blah blah...

But those effects.......that's a whole different story. It's super early CGI, and everything looks so retro, colorful, and bright—enough to give you a minor seizure. You really just had to see it. It isn't a masterpiece, but it isn't exactly trash or camp either. Honestly, it feels like its own unique category. If you happened to stumble upon it, you know exactly what I mean. 😁

I don't know, honestly... I feel like The Matrix might actually look like that in 25 years😁 😉—and I’m not talking about the plot, just the visual effects

Looking back at my old posts, I'd give it a 5/10
I basically only watched the movie because of that one Simpsons episode😁

The driving sequences were the only redeeming quality... 🙏 🙏 🙏 But the acting was subpar. The gameplay itself was actually top-tier, though it seems like nobody bothered to appreciate it.
