Just two quick questions for you guys.

1. Will my BIOS stay intact even if I end up nuking Windows entirely?

2. So, while I was messing around with my PC setup, I left the dedicated graphics card plugged into the motherboard but had the monitor cable hooked up to the integrated graphics instead. Is there any chance I actually fried my main GPU by doing that?

Thanks!

1. Just so we're clear—the BIOS stays put. It has absolutely nothing to do with your OS, so you could format your hard drive ten thousand times if you wanted to; the BIOS lives on the motherboard and doesn't care what's happening on the drive or with your macOS installation.

2. There’s really no way around it—if you've got a dedicated graphics card sitting in your PCIe slot, it would be pretty smart to disable the integrated graphics on your processor. Since that integrated chip is still active, it’s just going to end up eating into your available RAM.
