U2 3D [2008]

Has anyone seen it yet? What are your thoughts?

I caught it last night. Even though I’m not exactly a huge U2 fan, the movie was fantastic... It honestly feels like you're right there at the concert; I almost found myself throwing my hands up in the air when the crowd did. The sound quality was spot on, and the whole experience was incredible. Highly recommend it—whether you're a die-hard U2 follower or just someone who lives for live shows!

Honestly, this is something everyone should check out, not just the die-hard fans. They’ve only announced shows in Seattle and Washington, D.C., but apparently, there's a Broadway show hitting Miami too. I'm pretty stoked to finally go see it myself.

I’ll certainly be making an appearance for that one; I am quite a massive fan of theirs...😍

A total revolution for cinema.

I mean, I really hope they start making more 3D movies in general soon, you know? Like, maybe we'll actually see them playing in our local AMC Theatres again instead of just being a thing of the past.

I’m not exactly a die-hard U2 fan, but I am a sucker for 3D... so I’ll definitely be heading there, assuming there are even any tickets left

Man, I almost passed out when I heard the premiere finally hit theaters. Can someone please tell me how long this is going to be playing and which theaters have it? I'm not based in Washington, D.C., so I need to figure out my travel plans before it's gone.

It’ll be playing for a long, long time. The premiere was just the other day, so I assume it’ll stay around forever. You can catch it at AMC Theatres in downtown or over at Avenue Mall, so pick one.
By the way, I ducked into the theater for a second just to check the setup, and I gotta say, it's pretty impressive. You really get the feeling you're right there on stage with them. The best part is when Bono sings directly into the camera. It feels like he's standing right in front of you, reaching out his hand. I tried to corner him to get some alone time, but no luck. If I can make it back, it’ll be perfect. 😛

U2... where are you even from? I was honestly floored when I found out they were playing in Miami, especially since they didn't advertise it there at all—it was all just hype for Washington, D.C. and Seattle!

Honestly, it was perfect... even better than I anticipated. There’s this incredible feeling of being just inches away from Bono and the rest of the band. When you pair that proximity with the sound quality, you truly feel like an honored guest in a Verizon suite.

The absolute highlight of the film: that moment when the lyrics "wipe your tears away" hit right during "Sunday, Bloody Sunday."

And yes, I am absolutely going back for a second round.🙏

Well, I saw this movie six times back in the spring, and now I've seen it twice here in Washington, D.C. I even made trips to Denver for the 3D version and out to Budapest for the IMAX experience.

anyway, I just finished watching it and honestly... I'm kind of blown away.

I'm definitely adding this to my watchlist for as soon as possible!

I'm from St. Louis, so New York City is my closest major stop..
I’d suggest any fans actually take the time to register on their official website, which most people haven't bothered to do yet.. They really are top-tier..
