I’ve always had a soft spot for the villains in superhero stories: Abomination, The Gremlin, Doc Sampson, Skeleton, Venom, Abomination. It isn't just their pure malice or their drive to tear down this broken world; it’s the sheer creativity behind them. Powers like Morbius's vampirism, the physical presence of Venom, or the grit of Tombstone...

Since I have some time on my hands, I decided to indulge a bit of an obsession with Spider-Man's rogues' gallery. There are hundreds of them, so I won't list every single one, but here are the heavy hitters. Let me know which villain you'd actually want to see show up in a new Spider-Man film.

It’s probably going to be tough to find enough people for a poll like this. It feels like it's been forever since we actually got decent Spider-Man stuff released properly. I guess the last thing that came out regularly and was actually worth reading was something like "The Almanac"... man, I miss those days.

Honestly, if we ever see a fourth installment, it’s high time they finally let Dr. Connors transform into the Lizard... and maybe give Electro a proper cinematic arc so he doesn't come off as some second-rate henchman, like he did in the comics where he always felt like a total joke.

Carnage would be a winner... provided they actually live up to the name. 😬

I’m not even gonna bother voting because my favorite, Venom, isn't even on the list... unless I'm just blind and haven't fully woken up yet..

Wait, where on earth does it say it's for the fourth movie???

You're only talking about the new Spider-Man... which is technically only the third one so far... bi'ch😁

And honestly, why wouldn't Venom pop up in the fourth too? I mean, he's such a massive character that you can't just deal with him once; it would be totally mindless to just use him for one single sequel...
They should really just cram everyone into the fourth one so we can actually see some real mayhem happen😬
