Can you guys take a look at these photos and tell me what you think about how this looks???

So, here’s my dilemma: about a month ago, I noticed this bump pop up right below my knee, and while it has actually shrunk down a little bit since then, it's still bothering me! I went to see my doctor and everything came back perfectly normal on all the tests, which is great news, I guess, but now I’m stuck facing a big decision: should I go through with surgery or just leave it alone? I can't help but wonder if this is just happening because I’m constantly putting pressure on my knee due to the physical demands of my job, or if—heaven forbid—it could potentially get worse if I don't do something about it. Has anyone else ever dealt with something similar, or does anyone happen to know more about what might be going on here???? Thanks so much in advance!

I don't know about all this... honestly, if something can just pass on its own, isn't it better to just leave it alone? I mean, once you go under the knife, those surgical scars and the recovery pains stay with you forever, right? Has anyone else here actually dealt with issues after an operation like this?

Why are you asking people on a forum about something this serious? Go see a doctor. It might just be a meniscus issue, which they can fix with laparoscopy—you won't even have a scar. If you can swing it, go see Dr. German at the clinic in Mattoon. It’ll cost you, but you'll feel like a new person.
