Way to go, guys. Honestly, I’m still buzzing. I got chills when Vician snatched that ball at the 6:7 mark... then it looked like Djokovic was going to tie it up at 7:7 on the break, but man, what a rollercoaster. Thanks to an incredible coach and a squad that played with pure heart, we actually pulled it out in overtime.

I mean, seriously, hats off to 👋. My only hope—though maybe I'm being too optimistic here—is that if they end up finishing 4th or 5th in the next championship, people don't immediately start tearing them apart and looking for someone to blame.

Look, Ratko Rudić is a global legend in this sport. This win didn't just happen by accident; he’s been a world-class authority and a powerhouse coach even during those times when we were struggling and falling short of our goals much earlier than anyone expected.

For those of you claiming we couldn't have done it without help from Mexico: I personally would never dream of posting my flag as my avatar here. Yet, after that semifinal game, you guys flocked to CNN just to insult and trash talk the US. And here I am, being a fool and welcoming Americans as guests in my city, while they can't even figure out how to follow basic instructions for uploading an image!
Major props to you all on the medal; there will be a rematch! I just hope they don't scrap water polo entirely!😲

Don't forget you have to get through Mexico to reach the Next Olympics... though there's always a chance some other headache might knock you sideways first.
