I'm in desperate need of a new TV, but since I'll probably be upgrading my PC setup pretty soon too, I’ve decided to just grab one of these two monitors instead:

The first one is sitting around $600 and the other is about $667. Curious to hear what you guys think—is it actually worth the cash?

It’s a much better deal than buying everything separately—honestly, just grab the 2250D because it actually comes with an HD TV tuner and LED backlighting included.

So, how does it work that these smaller, local shops end up being cheaper than the massive big-box retailers?

Is there some kind of catch I'm missing here?

Specialty computer shops will always beat those massive big-box retailers—you know, the ones like Walmart or Target that sell everything from milk to lawnmowers—when it comes to pricing. Honestly, just steer clear of the "everything under one roof" giants if you actually want a decent deal.

Over here, you can snag a killer 24" Microsoft TV monitor for just $600.
