Hi everyone.

While browsing some online tech retailers, I stumbled upon an interesting little gadget from Logitech.

It’s a compact wireless adapter designed to bridge your speakers to devices like smartphones or tablets via Bluetooth technology.

MY QUESTION:

I follow the concept, but I'm wondering if it can be paired with a laptop via Bluetooth. Most product descriptions seem to limit the scope to smartphones and tablets, though logically, shouldn't it work with any Bluetooth-enabled device?

THE DEVICE:

There is surprisingly little information available about this specific unit online.
Thanks in advance!

Why bother hooking it up to a laptop when the laptop already has built-in speakers?

Sure you can connect it to a laptop, provided the damn thing has Bluetooth and supports Bluetooth streaming. You just fire up a player, send the audio over Bluetooth, and you're done. I mentioned smartphones and tablets because they all come standard with Bluetooth and Bluetooth support, but even older phones would work if they had the right tech—like those old Sony Ericsson Walkman phones...

And it's not just about using the speakers; you can plug in some basic wired headphones too. It's the same deal.
