His answer? He claims he moved to a team that could actually offer him more—something General Motors just couldn't provide. If I hadn't heard it myself, I wouldn't have believed it.

What exactly was he talking about? The money? Maybe the tech? Honestly, I can't see anything else they had that was better.
The guys were handing him the best car two years running, giving him a legitimate shot at a championship, and making him a global superstar, yet he jumps ship to this outfit and still has the nerve to give his old team such a polite "thanks for everything." It's pathetic. 👎
