What are your thoughts on the French horror film Vertigo from 2009?

I have included this link right here in case you aren't familiar with the movie I am talking about.

From what I can tell, this is just some cheap rip-off of Descent 🤷

The film hit theaters last summer

It reminds me a bit of "The Hills Have Eyes" or "The Texas Chain Saw Massacre"... and honestly, it isn't about Americans being killers, it's just one specific guy... some freakish monster similar to the ones in those two movies. It's a decent little horror flick for a low-budget indie release.

Honestly, this whole thing feels like some kind of sick joke to me 🤷.

The director of Abel Ferry went out of his way to demonize Americans to an extreme degree.
Talk about a great advertisement for American tourism. Truly... 😁

This movie is absolute garbage, and the director is a complete moron🙄 I sat through it today, and honestly? No surprises there—I was fully expecting this kind of total trash from the jump.

Finally finished my download today, so I figured I’d check out some reviews before diving in. Honestly, I’m not even surprised by what I read 🤣

It was alright, I guess. Nothing to write home about, but definitely doable.

I agree, especially with the first half—it’s great. It dips a bit once Anthony shows up, but overall, it's a really solid movie.
