About a year and a half ago, I started noticing some strange visual disturbances. It would happen where whatever point I was focusing on would turn blurry while my peripheral vision stayed clear, and then it would eventually flip—the focal point would become sharp again, but my periphery would go fuzzy. This whole episode usually lasted somewhere between 30 to 45 minutes, and once it passed, I’d be left with a headache and some discomfort behind my eyes.
I eventually noticed a pattern suggesting this might be triggered by drinking coffee, so I decided to cut it out entirely. For a while, the symptoms disappeared completely, and I even started having coffee again, which seemed fine since my vision remained stable for about six months.
However, lately, these episodes have started resurfacing, occurring twice within just a few days.
If anyone happens to have any advice or insights on this, I suppose I would be quite grateful.
