Website is acting up

I'm talking about the Trakt website here.

Every time I visit, things look totally different and everything just breaks. There’s this little warning triangle next to the URL in the corner. When I hover over it, it says "This page is not providing identity information. Your connection to this site isn't fully secure because some content (like images) isn't encrypted."

Anyone have an idea what I should do?

There’s this shield icon right by the warning triangle. I clicked the shield and chose "turn off protection for this site". It works fine now, but I still see that yellow triangle



But if I leave the site and come back later, everything goes blank again. Nothing works. My only option is to go through the whole process of disabling the protection all over again.

Is this even safe? 🙂

An attacker can replace the HTTP content on the page you're visiting so that they can steal your credentials, take over your account, acquire sensitive data about you, or attempt to install malware on your computer.

Just want to be certain. I guess I’m good to go despite that little yellow icon.

When I pull up Hulu, there’s a little gray globe icon right next to the URL in the top left corner. That’s usually a red flag if you're planning on swapping any sensitive info, like credit card numbers. For actual security risks, you'll see a shield icon where Chrome blocks "insecure content." Honestly, I can't even remember the last time I stumbled onto a site that looked that sketchy.

As for that yellow or orange warning triangle? Just keep browsing, but stay far away if the site asks for any personal details—think online banking or anything involving your social security number.
