Maybe there’s some resentment brewing? That Japanese girl who lives halfway across the world?

And honestly, it kind of sounds like Weezer, but it’s just not them. That’s what gets me—it feels like there’s nothing really substantial behind that similar sound, whereas before you actually had Green and Blue to lean on. It’s not even that it’s played badly or anything (it sits right in that MTV pop-rock sweet spot), it’s just more about that feeling of being let down.

Hey everyone, I have to say, this is honestly even worse than Maladroit. It feels like Cuomo might have completely lost his edge—or maybe he just used up all his energy too early. To me, the songs just feel incredibly thin and hollow.

Hey Weezer fans, listen up... I finally picked up their new album, and I have to say, they absolutely nailed it! They sound a bit more polished than their previous stuff, but they’ve still kept that signature sound that makes them so good.🙂

I honestly didn't think it was possible to record something even more underwhelming than Maladroit, but somehow, they actually pulled it off 🙂

Pinkerton!👏 Across The Sea!😍 I can’t claim to be objective here—honestly, how could I? This was one of those rare, beautiful albums I used to spin back in my college dorm days while hanging out with Franca, who was a total punk at heart. It takes me straight back to that era of early Weezer, Jawbreaker, Carter USM, and Protiva otmičar. God, those punk rock days... were they really as good as I remember?🙂

I feel like my sense of objectivity just instantly snaps back into place after listening to Maladroit and Make Believe* 😁

*-more like Make Believe, because let's be honest, there's zero filler on that one, right? lol
