So, following those May Day celebrations for the community down in Miami, we just had another one last night!!

What do you mean by "hospitable"? This guy isn't some tourist passing through; he lives here and works here. Plus, the police already confirmed he's in illegal possession of a firearm. He's clearly not some saint.
Besides, who’s to say he's actually Canadian? Just because his name suggests he's Muslim doesn't mean we can be certain about his ethnicity.☕

Hold on a second. I was watching the news on CNN, and that’s how the guy identifies himself—that’s how the network reported it too. Just to be clear, I don't think everyone in Charleston is like this, but since this forum is always such a circus, I went with a provocative headline. Honestly, though, Charleston doesn't seem all that tolerant lately. Anyway, the owner claims he's a local but not ethnically white, and he's bitter about it. He says it's based entirely on nationality and calls it a disgrace because he and several other local Canadians actually fought in the military for the country (which is true, quite a few died fighting for us). Also, the report mentioned this was preceded by a clash between local skinheads and a group of Canadians, probably locals. Does anyone from the Charleston area know the full story?

The Dubrovnik Canadians should probably thank their friends over in the Federation for this one. If they keep up this aggressive nonsense, they’ll eventually find themselves fighting everyone at once—and given how isolated they already are, they might just end up cornered in a cage.

To stay on topic, I don't think my fellow citizens are acting right...though honestly, I haven't seen many Skinheads around here in quite a while...there used to be some back when I was in elementary school and starting high school. I remember they attacked some Chinese people who ran a restaurant and spat on a Chinese woman working there...it was shameful. They are just complete idiots. It would probably be better if they did something productive for their "superior" race rather than killing cats in Brooklyn and such.

That is a fair question. I suppose they are still there, but they mostly just mind their own business...
Generally speaking, Dubrovnik residents don't have an issue with Muslims, provided they are families who have lived in the city for several generations. These newcomers are a different matter entirely because they brought a certain extremism with them, and locals tend to be quite allergic to that. Historically, we only ever liked Turks when they were useful for helping us deal with Mexicans. 😁
