My right eye has been twitching incessantly for about a week now, every single day without fail. It’s reached the point where it’s genuinely starting to get on my nerves... Does anyone here know what might be causing this, or perhaps how I could actually make it stop? Honestly, sometimes I just feel like pressing down on it to force the muscle to stay still...😢

Most people say it's just general stress, unless you're dealing with something actually serious.
Taking some Vitamin B and magnesium should definitely help...
I personally take effervescent magnesium, but lately, things have been a bit rough, so when I start feeling the pressure at work... I'm right there with you.😠

😲 😲 I can't believe it! I'm going through the exact same thing! Sometimes it lasts even longer than a day! It's my right eye too! I honestly thought it was my eyelid—I even had this weird thought that maybe a nerve in my iris had just given up on me or something! It is so incredibly irritating. I deal with chronic conjunctivitis, usually much worse in my left eye, but since I use drops in both eyes, I wondered if I might have just irritated the right one with the medication itself.
That's the first time I've heard it could be stress! I haven't really been under a lot of pressure lately, though... 😉
If you guys find a cure, please let me know!
Maybe it's some kind of biological weapon! 👋

Try taking some magnesium; I have actually heard that recommended quite a few times by several very competent people.
(Fingers crossed!)

I’m not entirely sure what you all mean by an eye twitch. Are we talking about that involuntary eyelid fluttering? Mine have been twitching incessantly for days now, though I’m fairly certain it’s just a direct consequence of the stress I've been under lately. I suppose taking some magnesium might help... I'll give it a shot.

Ah,
it’s just one of those things, I guess...
It feels like my eyelid muscle is twitching, specifically that little spot where the upper and lower lids meet...
I’ve actually heard people say it could just be from a sudden draft or a breeze, too...
Wait, you think it might be a magnesium deficiency?? Hmm... 🙄

Same here. It’s been ten days now—my right eye, specifically the eyelid. Could be some kind of biological weapon? :-( I've had issues before, but nothing this intense or this long-lasting.

Just eat some bananas...

A lack of potassium can lead to those annoying muscle spasms—and a whole lot of water retention too.

You might want to consider taking some magnesium as well. 😁

I always seem to get that—usually right after a bad bout of food poisoning or if I've been cranking the AC way too high... Are you guys constantly living in some freezing ice box or something?

😕 This thread is getting absolutely unhinged... I’m just sitting here waiting for my turn to lose it, though I might just start manifesting it subconsciously at this point. 🙄
Honestly, it feels like we’re all just involuntary test subjects in some twisted government bio-weapon experiment.

It just stopped working for me!

🎉 🎉 🎉

I was taking magnesium citrate once a day...

I truly believe we’re all just collateral damage in some massive government experiment involving a new biological weapon...

I really have to push back on this one, because I'm definitely not in America right now.
So, it really does come down to magnesium after all...🙄

It dragged on for fifteen days🙂 which was incredibly irritating.

The whole banana thing is a total bust; I’ve been eating them daily and nothing. Maybe it really is magnesium—I mean, isn't a magnesium deficiency basically the textbook cause for muscle cramps?!
And honestly, doesn't the eyelid have its own little muscles too?!🙄

So, I actually started taking magnesium today—just decided it was time to give it a shot. I'm wondering, though, how many days do you think it'll take before I can finally start tapering off the eye drops? I'll be sure to check back in and let you all know once everything settles down! 🙂

I haven't tried magnesium yet, and my eye is still twitching. Now that I see how much it helped you guys, I think I'll give it a shot myself.😁

hm
I haven't really been taking any magnesium lately, but I noticed my muscles just stopped twitching on their own...🙄

It eventually just stops on its own after a little while, though people say taking some magnesium can really help things along... in my case, it took about ten days this time... sometimes three is plenty enough

Have you heard about that one—if you play it, you'll end up in tears?

ugh, I had this twitching thing going on for like a week... super annoying...
asked the pharmacist at CVS what would help, and they suggested B vitamins—supposedly good for nerves or whatever...
took two a day, and after maybe three days the twitching started dying down and then just totally stopped...🙂
