Where did a specific thread page go?

I was just browsing through the thread regarding secondary rhinoplasty and revision nose surgery, and I noticed something quite peculiar... the discussion used to span three full pages, but now it seems to have shrunk down to just two! It feels as though several posts from specific users—people who shared such incredibly valuable firsthand experiences—have simply vanished into thin air...

I did attempt to reach out to Maria Fisher46 directly via private message since she manages the board, but it turns out I hit the maximum limit for sent messages, so I thought I would try posting here instead...

Does anyone happen to know why certain posts might just disappear? I'm specifically looking at this particular thread where everyone was being perfectly civil and polite, sharing their personal journeys to help others navigate their own health concerns, all while staying strictly on topic without any unnecessary tangents...

On a related note, I was wondering if other members are allowed to request the removal of someone else's post, and if there is any sort of notification sent to the original author before a post is deleted—especially when the content itself wasn't inappropriate or inaccurate? Furthermore, is it possible for a user to personally request that their own specific entries be wiped from the record?

Actually, it just occurred to me that perhaps the very user whose posts I'm missing might have requested the deletion themselves... is that a possibility in these circumstances? Thanks again!

I actually had a little chat with someone who had been following this thread, and they mentioned remembering back to what was on the third page...

I’ve been putting together all my personal experiences regarding patient care because there is such a massive demand for those kinds of procedures lately, and I truly believe sharing this could help everyone involved... So, if you guys are open to it—and provided I can track down a quick Print Screen of everything (I’ve actually pasted the whole thing into Microsoft Paint just to keep the formatting intact as a source)—I would be more than happy to send these details over to your private inbox so you can see exactly what we're discussing, though it's possible the original user might have already deleted her response... If that isn't something the moderators typically handle, or if it feels like a bit of an imposition, please accept my apologies in advance!

It’s totally possible those posts were moved over to the operation nose thread or maybe even operation nose II. Since those threads are massive and your search function is acting up, why don't you just send over that Print Screen? I can hunt down the specific post you're looking for myself, or if you happen to know the exact date from the image, that would work too! 🙂 In the meantime, if it helps you out at all, here are the links to her very first posts in those threads—you can dive in and scroll through from there if you're interested.

Anyone can request to have their own posts removed. However, the moderators make the final call based on the Health Policy PDF regarding whether to grant that request. Generally, requests are only approved if the post contains private data that could compromise an individual's identity. Most other requests for deletion are typically denied.

It also just occurred to me that perhaps the user I am referring to requested their own post be deleted. Is that a possibility? Thanks(...)

A review of the profile for the user mentioned (Želimir02) shows no deleted posts. This indicates that all of this author's entries remain on the forum. It is possible they were moved from the secondary rhinoplasty thread to the operation nose thread, but not a single entry has been deleted by moderator intervention.

If I wanted to ask you guys to please take down some of my older posts, how on earth am I supposed to send that request if your direct messaging is turned off?
