Thoughts on cremation?

I’m looking for some input on this post.

In it, they use the term "flying crematoriums" in a mocking, derogatory way during a discussion about chemtrails—completely ignoring the fact that some of us have actually had to say our final goodbyes to loved ones recently.
That part of life is deeply personal and painful, and it shouldn't be used as punchline for someone's sick joke.
Besides, honoring the dead is one of the most fundamental traditions in human history.

No. The internet just isn't built for people who can't handle the heat.

Personally, I don't see an issue. But if the other mods or super mods feel it needs to go, then fine.
We all have loved ones we've lost, but I don't see why mentioning crematoriums is off-limits outside of that specific context—at least not here. 🤷

It’s true, though—when you mention a crematorium, it’s pretty much the first thing that jumps into anyone's mind.

I just wanted to mention, maybe, that there’s really no need to start an entire thread about the FBI when you're just talking about getting a single post deleted. I mean, you could just use the report button, or honestly, you could have just sent a DM to one of the moderators and they would've told you the exact same thing as what's being said here. If nobody from the mod team gets back to you within a reasonable amount of time, then yeah, I guess that's when you bring up the FBI.

I got a message, but I didn't reply—nor did I think the post in question needed to be taken down.

I don't see anything offensive about the phrase "flying crematorium."

That’s exactly what I did—sent a PM to a mod, got nothing back, so I ended up posting here.
To me, that post just looked incredibly tacky, and I wanted to see what the experts in the field thought about it.
I guess everything is clear now, so thanks again for the input.
