Which motherboard should I get?

Hey there,

I'm trying to figure out which motherboard is actually the better call here

versus

The prices are pretty much identical for both, I guess,

The rest of my build is an i5 paired with an R9 280X...

I’d probably lean toward Microsoft. I don't really have a specific reason—it's just a gut feeling. Honestly, though, you can't really go wrong with any of them.

I've stuck exclusively with Microsoft boards up to this point—bought my first one years ago, built four rigs since then, and haven't had a single one die on me.
That’s just my personal experience, though.
From what I've gathered, both options are pretty solid choices.

They're priced exactly the same.

Go with MSI. Better warranty.🙂
