Nica said:And because of that, it’s not suitable for a massive thread, which is why it was locked. I don't see what else there is to discuss here, and there's no point in giving you guys space just to bicker; you'll end up getting warnings, eventually banned, and then the "evil admins" will be blamed all over again because you couldn't control yourselves from provoking one another.

This is nothing but a pile of lies!
The whole "bickering and handing out warnings" thing only ever happens exclusively when people start criticizing how the administration handles things—and lately, that's almost always been directed at you.
If you look at my profile, you can see the full history of your warnings issued there... and in every single one of those posts, there was criticism regarding your work.
The reason for the warnings is trolling, of course 🤣

There were times you’d delete stuff whenever you didn't like what people were saying to you, so the users revolted, and then you started handing out warnings to shut them down.
Then it turned out that even warnings wouldn't silence people from telling you what they thought about you and your job—so you started both issuing warnings and deleting posts.
When you realized that neither worked to stop the "backlash," you decided to just lock the thread.
You didn't lock the thread because you care about our warnings or bans; you did it because that way, all the dissatisfaction with you and your management gets concentrated in one spot—which just makes these "outbursts" happen more frequently.
So you decided to "thin them out" this way.

You weren't the one who opened the "question" threads; Anderson did, and that specific thread was meant to show a "new direction"... sure, time shows that direction has gone completely off the rails, especially with you running the show, but if he's the one who opened it, you can't just shut it down.
Basic professional etiquette tells you not to go "over the head" of your superior.

And that thread isn't a mess because of "malicious users"; it's a mess because of poor administration and the fact that you've completely lost your way (if you want my honest opinion).
I figured out your intention to lock the thread almost two weeks ago—as soon as you let a topic turn into a troll fest (and sometimes you even help it along), you're just clearing the field so you can write a post claiming everything has become unmanageable—that's your modus operandi.
I actually wrote that to you in the thread, and you quickly deleted it.
Just like how you gave me a warning last week and then deleted your own post, or the five attempts I made on the KSB to grab a screenshot of that post.
What are you so afraid of?

Everything kissme said, plus:

See, experience has shown (in the context of PJP) that they’re locking him down just so he doesn't have to answer any actual questions, because they clearly lack the communication skills of a basic ATM at a gas station.

PJP:

- That you all showed off your "naughty" sides to your mothers, Theresa, after horrible Alex (who, by the way, I am mentioning for the first time—just some wannabe Lastan who keeps shamelessly copying me and trying to heal his childhood trauma by trolling my thread... someone might say a good moderator would reward you for that)
- That you bit off way more than you could chew
- That you moderated every single part of this thread phenomenally poorly—by banning the innocent, refusing to issue warnings to friends, getting sucked into endless debates with trolls, and letting people walk all over you and the mods, basically everything you listed...

That’s what I call a joke. Try standing in front of a Politics moderator... hell, even a moderator from the soap factory... and claiming no one feels left out. We all know which forums are actually difficult, so don't try selling me this PJP nonsense.

You have the same tools an average mechanic has:

- Delete post
- Move post
- Copy post
- Copy a huge chunk of posts from one thread to a new one
- Warn
- Issue a yellow card
- Issue a red card
- Ban

And probably ten other things you can do with a PJP thread. But, as usual, it's "lock the door, Mom is yelling at me."

I'll say it again: You. Are. Not. Capable. Of. Moderating. Your. Own. Topic.

What makes you think you can handle the Forum as a whole?

By the way, go ahead you power-tripping admin—hand out all the bans and warnings you want. Just remember: you think those little power moves won't face some serious due diligence one day? 😁

So, that’s how it works at the Admin of Nice. If I remember right, you basically rode to your admin spot on a wave of "user-friendly" promises (or maybe you were just selling that dream to Anderson?). Users first, right? Not the grumpy mods or admins. Just pure respect and decency for the regular folks. But after a few months of being this "wonderful, perfect, and fair" Admin of Nice, the backlash started hitting. Then came the losing of tempers, the deletions, the warnings... and finally, the grand finale: locking down the very thread that was supposed to be the heart of our democracy, run by the Admin of Nice and that other person. Yeah, the motive is obvious—it's easier to dilute criticism by splitting it into a dozen tiny threads rather than letting people vent in one place. Hmm... why didn't you just do that when the thread was still on your side and everyone was praising your "genius" moderation? It’s easy to take the compliments, but you’ve got to learn how to handle the heat. You guys are doing exactly what every forum that claims to "care about its users" does—shutting down any thread that dares to criticize. Maybe you should listen to Slavko and move the complaints out of the main section; clearly, they aren't welcome here anymore..

And hey... don't sweat our warnings or bans... it's pointless—because honestly, even you don't know why you're handing them out.

Look, maybe this administration isn't perfect.

But at least they don't go around handing out permanent bans just because they woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Especially when someone actually dares to criticize how they handle things.

If people were treating Nica and Strilet the way they used to treat the former admin... man, they would have been kicked off this site a long time ago.

In my opinion... I'm not 100% sure how accurate that is, so I won't claim it as fact, but it would honestly be better if they just permanently banned anyone who keeps attacking their work.

If people were doing what they're doing to Nica and Strilet to the former admin, they would have been kicked off this site ages ago...

And? If they earned a permanent ban, then they should get one. I don't follow your logic at all.

Yeah... so you suffered under the old regime's boot... for how long? Years? Months? Weeks? Days?
Look, I'll admit it—this current crew is fairer. They don't permaban critics; they just delete posts or lock threads. With the old administration, you at least knew where you stood. Now? They just flip-flop on their rules whenever it suits them. It's all just whatever works for them in the moment.

Why don't you tell us how the former management would have handled things? Given how long you've been around here, I'm sure you know better than anyone. 🤣

I've never seen the community treated with such blatant disrespect. It feels like everyone's complaints and concerns are just being brushed aside—it's like everything we write here just gets dismissed without a second thought.

It’s pretty obvious when you look at the endless pages of scathing reviews posted by hollowmason64 and her little group of allies, which somehow, miraculously, still haven't been scrubbed from the site...

Look, one basic rule for posting on any forum (even a trashy one, I guess) is actually knowing how to read. I explicitly asked for things to be deleted and the thread locked. But wouldn't you know it? Pages upon pages of criticism (from whoever) just get locked instead. And some stuff? Yeah, it definitely got wiped...

I'm not even talking about myself here.
I earned my status the right way and I paid my dues just like everyone else.

I'm thinking about the dozens of other regular, decent users who got banned because they did exactly what you guys are doing so freely right now: criticizing how the admins run things.

Whether their criticisms were actually valid is a whole different story...

Do you honestly think that after barely 185 posts spread over three and a half years under Sasha's administration, you're somehow qualified to compare one thing to another? Or to weigh in on forum politics at all?

Of course you think so. You’re just another carbon copy from that swarm of yellow ants that crawled out during this admin. You all share the exact same flaw: none of you could own a single sentence if someone held a gun to your head. It’s pathetic. This whole "romantic" routine—acting like a lunatic under one handle, playing the saint under another, and then moonlighting as a moderator under a third... it's disgusting. Get an identity and stick to it. Even when you're wrong. Even when you're standing alone against the crowd. Stand on your own. Write what you think, when you think it, and have the guts to sign your name to it.

There’s really no need to get personal or start throwing insults.
We can have a civil conversation without resorting to that.

Threads usually get locked once they hit a wall of hundreds of identical, repetitive posts, or once a final decision has been made regarding appeals...

So, when you run out of actual arguments, you resort to ad hominem, huh?

Under this administration, I haven't opened a single clone account, so your little accusation is completely off base.

I haven't used my original handle—which is actually older than yours—in a very long time, so there's zero point in me reactivating it now.

The only account I use is this one.

Can we please get back to the topic at hand?

It’s funny how everyone is suddenly finding their voices in the public section of the forum—all this noise now—whereas before, when things were being handled behind closed doors by the mod team, nothing could be shared or moved out of those private channels.

Where's your buddy? I thought he'd be joining you on this thread.

And honestly, trying to discredit someone just because of how old their account is or how many posts they've made... it's pretty pathetic.

The current admins are totally at fault—their inconsistency and lack of skill give users the right to nitpick every single thing they say. It just proves my point from when I stepped down as a moderator: Nica doesn't grasp how a forum this size actually works, and she honestly lacks the capacity to be an admin. Sure, she might handle being a mod on some tiny subreddit, but an admin role? To exaggerate—it’s like asking a nurse to perform major surgery. Even in movies, that doesn't end well.

I don't know.
I honestly don't even know how a forum this massive works.
Maybe you've got a point.

But the fact that we can even sit here and debate this without worrying about getting banned suggests things are actually looking up compared to how they used to be...

I've always been loud and clear about my views, both here and in the mod chat. And when Sasha was let go, I resigned properly—not because of who I know, but because of how they handled it. It's the same reason I stood up for a fellow mod a few months ago over stuff that had nothing to do with his actual job. Plus, unlike most people around here, I'll say it straight: Nica is a bad admin.

No, it isn't pathetic when someone starts talking about a disastrous former administration even if they joined after that crew left or just a month after signing up. I'm pretty sure no admin ever bans someone just for having a low post count.

Yeah... true... bans aren't really the issue anymore. Now it’s all about shady accounts just trolling or posting off-topic crap. Though even that isn't a guarantee if you've got family connections on the site.
