Why was the rape discussion thread removed?

Look, the OP might have been a bit of an idiot when they set this thread up, but honestly? There are way too many guys out there who just don't get what rape actually is... or how women definitely aren't "enjoying" it. I'd really love to see this topic brought back, maybe even moved over to the women's section or something, just so we can try to help the guys understand why this is such a horrific, degrading thing that completely wrecks lives...

It would be pretty awesome if one of the mods or admins could actually jump in and give me an answer to my question...

Not sure if we’re even on the same page here, but I don't think it should be brought back. If we're talking about what I think—that topic basically implies finding pleasure in sexual assault—that has no place in a Literature class. Maybe a Psychology seminar could handle it. I just think the subject is too heavy to be treated with this light, almost mocking tone.

That's just my take.

Lowe's already has threads covering the whole play-rape aspect.
Over on the psychology board, there's an entire thread about survivors with something like 1,000 replies.

We really don't need another one.
