Wrong section for food talk

I’m actually quite happy with how the moderators handle the Food & Dining section, but I truly believe this particular post is out of place there. Beyond that, it feels like a direct insult to both me and another member. I’ve already flagged it, yet I haven't seen any action from the mods:

I honestly see my colleague’s post as this masterclass in balancing irony and sarcasm, especially after hearing that one congresswoman’s remarks back at the US Capitol. It’s wild because voters actually sent her there to represent our best interests and show the rest of the country what we're all about, you know? ☕

And just to be clear, I don't see this post as some kind of dig at you, or anyone else hanging out on this forum.

I honestly took that post as a joke, so I didn't bother responding to the report. It still feels pretty harmless to me, but if the admin thinks it crosses a line, we can always take it down...

To me, it feels more like trolling, especially since he hasn't made a single thoughtful contribution on the subject using his own brain.
Given that I’m a regular here and Thomas keeps rambling about nonsense, I took it as a bit of a slight.
But fine, perhaps I just missed the joke. 🙂
Then again, there's no winning with me; I feel insulted the moment someone lumps me together with that lady in a single post.😁
