X-ray scan results/process

Just got my referrals for dental X-rays and hip scans... more X-ray work.

Now, here's what I'm wondering— If I’m starting pre-conception planning in a month or two— Is an X-ray dangerous for a woman before she gets pregnant? And is it even recommended for someone actively planning to conceive?

And if I actually decide to go through with the procedure—should there be some kind of recovery period before trying to conceive again?

If anyone knows, please write back.

In my estimation, a two-month buffer is more than sufficient given your timeline. To provide an example from my own experience, I underwent a CT scan just a few days before I went into labor, and everything turned out perfectly fine. I also had an X-ray taken the day after delivery; however, because I was breastfeeding, I wasn't permitted to see the baby for 24 hours to allow the radiation to clear my system. So, in your case, you should be fine.
