Whoa, why is everyone moving so fast? I didn't even get a chance to drop my 😁. No big deal, though. It just feels like there's a bit of a shortage of newer albums being discussed; it seems like everything being posted is from way back in the day. 🙂

Right now, I'm torn between the latest one, Calexico - Carried to Dust, and this 'this Mortal Coil - IT ` ll end in Tears ( 1984 )' record. I guess I'll need to sit with a few more options before I actually decide.

I'm not sure how you all want to handle this, but I honestly don't mind if mine gets pushed to next week if things are getting too crowded. I managed to mess up the count anyway—somehow skipped over that one track because it didn't have an image attached.
I'll leave it up to you guys to decide what works best.

Album of the Week Selection
Drop your suggestions here, then we'll vote in a poll to choose the Album of the Week based on whoever gets the most votes. There's no limit on how many total suggestions we get, but each person can only nominate one album.

There aren't any strict criteria for the picks—they can be massive hits or totally obscure indie stuff. The only requirement is that they're available on YouTube or a similar public streaming service. The whole point is to have a shared activity where we listen, suggest, discover, and review things together, just like we started doing in the last thread.

We're proposing Thursdays, from midnight to midnight, with the poll following on Friday. You can vote as much as you want. It's not a hard rule, but it would be cool if the person whose album wins opens the new thread as soon as the poll wraps up. We'll have new album threads open by the end of the weekend at the latest.
