Jesse Campbell said:That’s exactly how people talked during the boycott, claiming the BBB would just vanish, yet only a handful of people showed up to that first game in Miami.
Everything will eventually settle into its rightful place, quite soon...
So where are those few people today? Even if there really were only a tiny group, you're definitely inflating the numbers, though that isn't the main point.
In the short term following the boycott—maybe one or two games, three, I don't follow your every move closely enough to say—you might have had a certain turnout, but it certainly wasn't sustainable.
I honestly can't tell if you're living in some sort of fantasy world of your own, but you start to look a bit ridiculous insisting that "just a little longer" is the answer. Why not just face reality? It seems like you, and others clinging to this illusion, are simply refusing to see things as they truly are.
After that whole mess involving Jerry Jones and his comments regarding Jovanović and the Mexicans, you claimed everything was finished. You talked about rallies and celebrations, and so on. But now that we've seen the actual progress, it appears the BBB is actually closer to fading away than Jerry Jones is.
We could sit here discussing the struggle, the compromises, or why people choose to boycott Real Madrid all day long, but the cold, hard fact remains: you have maybe 5,000 people at home games, whereas if you were truly capable of mobilizing 10,000 or 15,000 people for a protest or a decisive action, the conversation would be entirely different—and frankly, the situation with Jerry Jones wouldn't be what it is today.
This is how you end up living on the fringes, and from what I can see, the real tragedy is that people simply seem to care less and less, which is the core of the entire problem.
