So, I was watching the news this morning and the head of the Canadian Olympic Committee—if I remember right—was talking about the changes coming our way once we join the European Union regarding how clubs get funded. Basically, the takeaway is that almost nothing is actually going to change. As long as they have a court order, they can fund a club by claiming it's a "special case"—which shouldn't be too hard for Bndić or Jerry Maguire to pull off.
