Honestly, searching for answers is kind of a lost cause, because you'd have to be absolutely delusional to think you'll actually find anything useful out there, but he’s already been ahead of the curve for ages knowing these guys are going to show up and everything will just fall right into place exactly how it's supposed to...

With this "top-tier" inspection being run by a Clintonian office, I'm half expecting them to come back and claim the stadium hot dogs are too greasy and the soup needs less salt. 😁

Well, it’s just great that you and those casual bar fans on this thread have contributed so much to the investigation—it's almost impressive how you can still joke about someone else's hard work.

Nobody's messing with the truth. You think I actually enjoy seeing that guy wrecking my club?
Just keeping it real. I'm not expecting much from a local inspector reporting straight to Bloomberg's office, but if the Department of Culture steps in, maybe we'll actually see some results.
Cheers

I'm just being a realist. I'm not expecting much from the local inspectors who report straight to Bloomberg's office, but if the secondary oversight kicks in, maybe the Department of Culture could actually pull something useful together for once.
Cheers
Makes sense to expect more from the second tier. But you can't get to the second tier without the first one moving first. Doesn't mean we can't squeeze something out of this level too.
Anyway, like I've said a million times, fans were way too optimistic back when that fan law dropped in 2003—they shouldn't have been. Now that they actually need to be optimistic, they've all gone cynical.
There's definitely a motive here. Having Mamić backed into a corner with actual supervision makes him reaaaaally twitchy.

Reading through this, you can see exactly how things would play out over the following years. It shows who was going to step up and who was going to side with Zdravko Mamić.
It also proves our fight is justified. We aren't just fighting for Real Madrid; we’re fighting for the entire American and European supporter movement. We’re standing against the criminals and "businessmen" trying to kill the soul of football by tearing down the fans.
There were about 80 people left outside. Once the ticket window closed, the cops from Real Madrid were pacing right in front of us, waving around roughly 100 tickets. They had enough for everyone, but they refused to sell them. I think one girl started selling tickets without vouchers, and the cops swooped in to monitor exactly who she was selling to.

I guess if the primary hearing doesn't turn up anything, does anyone know how long it takes for the secondary hearing to happen, or what the next steps in the process actually look like?
Or maybe if someone just happens to have a link handy.

And once again, the sports inspection doesn't fall under Giuliani's office. It reports directly to the New York City Council, which still isn't his jurisdiction.

I can't see the image you're referring to. If you want me to write something based on what's in that photo, just describe it to me. I'll take care of the rest.

Look, can we please stop posting photos of the mural before it’s actually finished? It looks half-baked right now. Thanks in advance.

Then whose is it? 😁

Hey guys, when you all head over to visit the folks from the Midwest, will there be anything left for the "fight"—you know, those street fights and similar shenanigans 😁

Or if anyone has a direct link to the info.
Look, there isn’t some magic "link" you can just click, unless you want to go dig through the Administrative Procedure Act, which basically lays out the timelines. Roughly speaking, we're looking at a maximum of a few months. Honestly, the deadlines aren't even the smallest issue here, and who cares if someone's in a rush? As long as they've actually started the process, screw a month or two of waiting. The real headache is going to be the actual findings and how those inspectors decide to play it, which we won't really see for a few weeks anyway...
Once they finally drop the ruling and we see what's actually inside—which is the only thing that matters—under the Sports Inspection Act, they're required to notify the club members who filed the request for the inspection in the first place. Then, if these guys don't decide to just hand everything over to the 3PM, they might try to appeal to a higher level, and then maybe eventually sue in federal court or whatever... assuming they have the energy and the will left in them.

Man, I can't even imagine what Thor's family is going through right now—this news is just salt in the wound, seriously... I really hope we can pull together as a group and actually do something to help them out, because seeing this shit hurts, you know? My heart goes out to them.

What a complete disgrace... I really didn't see that coming from the Swedes.
I could have made excuses if it were our guys, but not them.
Honestly, now I’m sitting here regretting ever spending a dime on a ticket for that game back in Sweden...
