Robert Cooper60 As stated by:
It’s honestly because of those mindless football fanatics that we're stuck in this mess.
It happened the other day—some group of hooligans getting hauled out of the stands by the police.

Do you honestly think it would have made half the impact if the entire Midwest had taken to the streets in protest, only for the West Coast to completely ignore the police action? 😉 (Yeah, I know that's San Francisco)

The guy ended up facing a few thousand people—plus several thousand more who were just there for the club scene and the chaos surrounding it—so basically, the home fans felt like total outsiders in their own stadium.

Instead of getting that home-field advantage at Yankee Stadium, the Bad Boys are stuck waiting on Miami and the Torcida to step up. They really should have been pulling that energy together in the stands a few days ago.
☕

That’s exactly right. That’s just how San Francisco works—it’s never going to happen, so honestly, we need to stop wasting our mental energy on it. It’s better to focus on the task at hand: figuring out how this group of 500 people can best mount a resistance against those thugs and find a smart way to get our ideas in front of the group's leadership. Everything else is just a complete waste of time.

Man, there are 500 of us here. For 80% of BBB history, we weren't even this big. What are you all rambling about?

Look at Valsimot, who used to run a group of maybe 20 people back then. How many BBB members were there in the late 90s? Remember when you couldn't even fill a 35-passenger minibus for an away game in Indianapolis? That was it. You couldn't even scrape together 30 people from Washington, D.C. just to head over to Indianapolis.

I remember that trip to San Diego when those thugs jumped us in Boise, and I remember EXACTLY that we were intercepted because there were enough of us to fill a double-decker bus. That’s 75 people. Hello??!!?!

Home games? Zero. Zilch. Nada.

Sure, we’d travel in mass to Miami, and we could pack Yankee Stadium for a derby. And occasionally to Europe.

But compared to those days, we are a freaking spaceship in terms of numbers and everything else. When we aren't being blocked, we roll out with 600 or 700 people for away games—that is the strength of a group that will, damn it, grow again once traveling to matches isn't such a massive risk. Most people are assholes anyway.

Exactly. You just said what I've been arguing in my own posts, it's just that you, Jesse, had to talk shit for twenty sentences first to try and sound smart. There aren't many of us. We can't rely on ordinary people, period.

Jesse Campbell, enough already.
Fighting for something... whatever. You keep ignoring the reality that you've been chasing this since your grandfather's era, yet the Yankees are still just as out of reach. Remember when they finally restored the name, but the fans still refused to show up at the stadium?
That’s hardly progress.
You remind me of those guys who get hammered and tell their wives, "Give me the keys! I can drive better than anyone!" while they can barely stay upright.🤣

Man, your little crusade has been dragging on from the nineties until now, and it's still going nowhere...

Man, there are 500 of us here. I mean, for about 80% of BBB history, we weren't even close to this many. What are you guys even talking about?

Think back to when Valsimot used to run the group with maybe 20 people—how big was BBB during the late 90s? Just remember that, if you can. Back then, you couldn't even fill up a 35-passenger minibus for an away game in Indianapolis. That was pretty much it. You couldn't even pull 30 people together from Washington, D.C. just to head out to Indianapolis.

When nothing stops us, we roll out with 600 or 700 people for an away game, and that's the strength of a group that will, I guess, grow again once traveling to matches isn't such a huge risk. I mean, most people are just jerks anyway.

Some kids who were only 16 stood their ground against Mamicev's thugs while you didn't, so maybe don't go calling anyone an idiot.😉

M. - things are just the way they are... there's really no point in overhyping anything, or worse, manufacturing some kind of false euphoria
"Most people are jerks"—is that supposed to be a new argument? Were they jerks when they were standing on the front lines defending our country, too? Or is it always that "if you aren't with us, you're against us" mentality? Can't we just accept that some people might have a different perspective? Even if I agree with most of what you're saying...
Come on, guys, let's try to be a bit more objective... it wouldn't hurt... trust me...

repost.

Look, kid, I’ve been tracking Mamić's rackets for 20 years now. Since '94, basically. Spent most of that time riding with ten other guys while 90% of the crowd called us crazy and you lot attacked me from every angle. Just because I’m staying quiet doesn't mean nothing didn't happen. 😉

I wasn't taking a shot at all the kids. I kept saying we’ve got an incredible squad—maybe our best ever—and I’m not sleeping on them. I was just calling out the whiners on the forums.

So what? What now? We supposed to cry about it? Start an agency? What?

Look, I wish we didn't have the history of the USA or Tuđman either. I wish we didn't have Mamić or deal with some primitive schizophrenic who needs 100% control over everything, but that's just how it is, and we fought back.

At the end of the day, it's about whether you can look yourself in the mirror as a man and a fan. If all this is too much for you, there are plenty of easier hobbies out there—go hiking, play cards, or go hang out with girls at a beach resort.

You feel me?

Someone above mentioned the bolougan boys. I wanted to share a bit of history regarding what happened to them, because we are seeing an identical pattern unfold here. It is a predictable cycle: a once legendary, fierce group of supporters gets diluted down to fewer than 200 hardcore ultras, while the stadium ends up filled with a "silent majority" of casual fans who can't even muster a decent atmosphere during ninety minutes of play. What’s happening at our home stadium feels like a final purge of anyone deemed "unsuitable." We can complain all we want, but every move the front office makes to shut us down just successfully shrinks the numbers season after season. I guess you can't expect kids under 18 to ever show up to the stadium again after they've been harassed and detained late into the night following a match. Anthony Phillips7 said:Spot on. There was an Ipsos poll a few years back showing Mamić had way more enemies than he does now.

And all this nonsense about how Mamić owns the cops and everything else... what happened in the 90s when Tuđman actually controlled the state? Is that any different?

Once regular fans turn on him, he's done. If 20,000 people start chanting against Mamić, then it’s over. Until then, we can talk until tomorrow, but the crowd is king, no matter the context. 🙂

No amount of chanting or a 20,000-person protest is going to move him. Don't kid yourselves—politicians aren't going to react just because they see a massive crowd protesting Mamić. Are you guys finally realizing where we live? We’re living in a "democratic republic" that functions like North Korea, but it's called America. As long as it stays this way, stop hoping that trash like Mamić will end up in the gutter where he belongs. The public is so clueless; by blindly siding with Mamić, they’re basically keeping him alive through sheer stupidity—all because they think the Bad Boys are a bigger nuisance than he is. If that hasn't clicked for anyone yet, it never will. Unfortunately, Mamić is currently more popular than the Bad Boys in the city, so he sleeps easy at night. And don't hold your breath waiting for the Bad Boys or any of those sheep sucking up to this jerk to come to their senses; they'll just pop like soap bubbles every single time. I saw everyone's true colors during the game against Sheriff. This mindless public shouldn't be given even a five percent chance anymore. Let them all rot—Mamić, Linić, and the rest of the garbage that these idiots and their tolerance have pushed into leadership positions. Like VG said, who cares what happens to them when we're all this stupid? End of story.

The crackdown is definitely worrying. Mamić isn't. He’ll eventually bail, but the repression stays. Even though he and his crew led the charge, this system will stick around after they're gone because it serves everyone from the cops to politicians and increasingly the general public.

The US is basically a testing ground. I saw Matteoni wrote an article about it in SN today, which is what I've been preaching for ages. The whole scene is at risk, not just us.

Anyone with me?

And where is all this even heading?!! Seriously though, can anyone actually see a solution on the horizon?? Not even close... it feels like it's just constant talk—"it's happening now," or "it'll happen eventually," blah blah blah—but then nothing ever changes. Correct me if I'm wrong!??? And where did all those people go—the ones who were leading the stands just a few years back and actually started fighting against Mamić... you have to admit, most of them are gone now... and man, we really miss them. It's tough... I guess once everyone realizes the only way out is for ALL OF US TO GET BACK IN THE STANDS, maybe something will actually move, but right now, things look pretty bleak.....

Are we cool, friends?

Who exactly is whining? Looking back through the last ten pages, there isn't a single whiner; it’s just people discussing how "average" citizens actually feel. It isn't "whining" to point out that the vast majority of people don't give a damn about us. It isn't "whining" to be realistic and conclude that we are essentially on our own. And it certainly isn't "whining" to acknowledge that this fight is going to be an uphill battle. None of us are asking for handouts or seeking help from casual fans or sympathizers. We just need to face facts instead of you throwing these little spikes and surveys at us claiming people hate Mamić. Honestly, I couldn't care less about that. I show up to the stadium and 90% of the crowd is giving me hell. To me, that looks like blatant support for Zdravko Mamić. That isn't whining; that's just the reality on the ground. You have to realize you can count on maybe 500 people in this fight, not half of New York City. That’s why most of New York doesn't give a damn about the club, about us, or about Mamić.

That’s right. I am actually on the payroll for Mamić, sent here specifically to dismantle Dinamo and the BBB. How did you see right through me? My only goal is to crush the BBB's spirit and shut them down. I am certainly *not* trying to point out systemic issues and hard facts just so people stop sitting around waiting for a miracle. I want those who are actually inside the organization—or used to be—to step up and get to work. Because let’s be real: none of this polling is going to save us, and we aren't going to win just because some casual fans suddenly realize our stance and decide to storm the stadium to screw over Zdravko. They won't. The people who hate him are staying home, and the ones who like him are actively sabotaging us. Look, those of you at home need to grow a pair. Stop being cowards waiting for us to take down Zdravko by playing dirty under the table; it isn't going to happen. You might see my posts as damaging to the group, but I disagree. It’s better to face the ugly truth than to live in a state of false hope.
