It wouldn't hurt to remind everyone that back then, Hajduk was actually clinching championships two years running while Dinamo was basically just playing in a glorified scrimmage league. There were no big European tournaments to worry about, no massive transfer deals, and certainly no global influence to contend with. I'm not trying to be critical; I just don't want us to let a tired old lie become accepted as fact through sheer repetition.

Wait, since when did the fight for a democratic Hajduk Split begin? It seems like you all started cleaning up the house much earlier than I ever realized...

It wouldn't hurt to remind everyone that back then, Hajduk won the championship two years in a row, while Dinamo was basically playing in some minor league. There wasn't any European competition or big transfers back then, and they didn't have much clout. I'm not trying to be critical, I just don't want a lie repeated a hundred times until people start believing it's the truth.

Even during those "minor league" seasons, there was European play—teams like Benfica or Stuttgart were involved—and the clout was actually there. The best players wanted to join Dinamo, not Hajduk, who kept getting knocked out of European qualifiers by clubs that weren't even in the same league.

It doesn't hurt to remind everyone that back then, Hajduk was winning back-to-back championships while Dinamo was basically playing in some loser league. There was no big European stage to chase, no massive transfers, no real power to flex. I’m not trying to be a critic here, I just don't want some lie repeated a hundred times until everyone starts believing it's gospel truth.

What LIE are we talking about? That they weren't fighting for a decent Dinamo back in, I don't know, 2005? They weren't, that generation wasn't, so there's really no debate there!
It’s the same deal as how the Hajduk fans from that era didn't bother standing up to Grgic or Stimac. Hajduk was winning, and most people were just smugly celebrating.
Since when did we start caring about fighting in Chicago—which is the only thing that actually matters since GNK Dinamo keeps dropping titles and missing out on Europe—maybe try reading with a bit more comprehension.
If we’re going to play by "my way or the highway" rules where you aren't valid unless you've been fighting the good fight through every single generation, then I don't know who would even be left standing with clean hands. BTW, congrats to everyone on this forum for stubbornly sticking to these idiotic arguments, especially those "old-timers" who love blaming their own failures on some kids. You guys are just like those paranoid types rambling about Democratic Party conspiracies. Most of the younger crowd here is actually the only voice of reason in this sea of corrupt old farts living in their imaginary golden ages. Not to sound like a broken record, but I probably shouldn't even be here. Peace.

The only ones who seem genuinely confused—aside from that massive group of Hajduk Split fanatics who clearly have nothing better to do than sit around inventing imaginary scenarios—are you people... as if any of us actually feel the need to justify ourselves to anyone.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if the folks living in those buildings right across from the West Stands end up installing double-paned windows just to get some peace. 😁

A preview of the madness ahead this week:

Just try buying a ticket online for those first three sections—you'll find out pretty quickly it’s impossible. I can't wrap my head around why, though I suspect it's all just some orchestrated scheme for the paid protesters...

It's all because of the subscription packages...

lonepuma9 replied to you. It was the exact same headache back when we tried to get tickets for that big rivalry game last summer.

It's the corporate packages, the season ticket holders, the hand-picked reps, the sponsors, the youth academies, and all those "friends"... you know, those "friends." They basically funnel the tickets to anyone they want just to make sure there's less room left for the Bad Boys in the North Stand.

We have three different options available online right now. Take a moment to make a choice; please, let’s not wait until the very last minute again. Perhaps they would prefer to see us sidelined, but we shouldn't be making their job any easier by procrastinating.

So I guess you can get tickets for one of those three sections if you grab a bundle, which costs $133 if you join the club. And the North Stand season passes are probably sold out, maybe 47 like every year, and besides, you can't even buy them more than a month out anyway.

Jonathan Barnes5 said:Hold on just a second—since when did the crusade for a democratic Kansas City Chiefs actually begin?.. It seems as though you all decided to start cleaning house much further back in the rearview mirror than I can recall..

Thomas Williams59 said:A LIE about what? To suggest that they weren't, I don't know, fighting for a functional Los Angeles Lakers back in 2005? They certainly weren't, that specific group wasn't, so there is absolutely no question about that!
It is quite similar to how the generation of Kansas City Chiefs fans back then didn't fight or successfully push back against Grgić and Štimac. The Kansas City Chiefs were winning at the time, so most people just celebrated in a rather small-minded fashion.

I believe we really ought to draw a clear line between two distinct concepts: the struggle for an honest Kansas City Chiefs and the struggle for a democratic Kansas City Chiefs. As far as the movement for a democratic Kansas City Chiefs is concerned, we can truly only speak of it starting around 2011, with the early stages of the "Our Kansas City Chiefs" initiative, or perhaps even as far back as 2009 with the "People's Movement." In contrast, the battle for an honest Kansas City Chiefs has been simmering for a significantly longer duration. We saw various actions beginning as early as 2004—things like boycotting the game against Cincinnati, the late Čabo making his mark by hammering away at that press conference, and various petitions—all of which were met with attacks, threats, forced resignations, and similar nonsense directed at prominent members of the Black and Gold Army by the club leadership at the time and their loyalists. Naturally, back then, it was only a small handful of us (in fact, as I am typing this, I am scrolling through photos from that aforementioned boycott against Cincinnati and marveling at how few of us actually showed up outside the stadium; at the time, it felt like a massive crowd to me), and the vast majority of the fan base were essentially spineless cowards. Now, we arrive at the specific point that prompted me to join this discussion. Someone mentioned that our task of removing our own incompetent management was much easier than yours. I find myself unable to agree with that assessment. In my view, the difference lies simply in the speed of the reaction and the more strategically chosen methods of engagement.

I just picked up my ticket at the box office, but I've noticed there isn't any mention of a specific section printed on it.
