I am seeking some recommendations for reputable florists located in San Francisco. Additionally, could anyone provide some insight into what would be considered reasonable pricing for various arrangements?
Thank you.
Thank you.

I see quite a few people raving about Runolist, but if you ask me, you’re much better off hiring someone who works out of their own home since they tend to be way more affordable; I know for a fact that those home-based bouquets can start around $500—$200 which usually includes the boutonnieres for the groom and groomsmen, though table decor really just depends on your specific vision, and as for the car decorations, you could probably get away with $67 or more depending on how fancy you want to go.

Hi everyone, how can we find these local home-based florists? Does anyone have any recommendations or contact info?

Hi everyone, could someone share their experience with outdoor weddings? If the weather holds up, would May 30th be too chilly for an outdoor ceremony? Or is it still a bit too early in the season for that kind of plan?

Are you guys using private messages?
As for me, I actually preferred the church service being held outdoors.

Anyone got music suggestions for a catering gig? It’s happening out in Los Angeles... honestly, just give me an accordion player and I'm good.
thanks
thanks

Hi there, does anyone happen to know if the General Electric salon in San Francisco is still open for business? The last update I saw on their website was way back in 2012... and while we're at it, what’s the general consensus on their services? Any insight into their pricing would be great too.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Are you looking for a vocal group or maybe just some acoustic guitar and accordion vibes?
Check in with chunky to see what they think.

In this country, there is absolutely no such thing as a "safe" date for an outdoor wedding... anything can happen.

I figured it was finally time for me to brag a little bit. Now that the dust has settled from my wedding, I can actually sit down and share how everything went, along with some feedback from our guests.
We held the reception at a restaurant called Andrea—most people around here know it as Nirs—over in the Draver district. We had about 160 guests, all seated at round tables with crisp white linens. They did their own thing with the table and chair decor, including these really cool floral aquariums on the tables. As for the food? Honestly delicious. It wasn't that heavy, cliché wedding fare either; they served amazing homemade gnocchi. The service was top-notch, too—the servers were incredibly attentive without being intrusive. We truly had everything we needed. I honestly have nothing but praise for them; they nailed every single detail. Plus, they have guest rooms right below the restaurant, which was super convenient. Seriously, hats off to them. I can't recommend this place enough.
I couldn't agree more! Ever since the new manager took over, Nirs has been a complete revelation. Between the food, the service, and the overall atmosphere, it’s a perfect five out of five. They are easily one of the few gems left in California worth mentioning... absolutely stellar.

Hey, does anyone have a recommendation for a bridal salon in San Francisco? Ideally somewhere that won't completely break the bank.
I wouldn't mind renting a dress, too.

Oh, bless your heart, if you head over to the area near the pier, from what I know, they’re actually among the more affordable options. Honestly, I have no clue about any of the others, but that's where I picked up mine—well, $1000 I think I actually rented it,
if I recall correctly.

fala, thanks so much, I'll definitely check it out!

Hi there,
after spending an eternity lurking and reading through all the threads on this forum, I’ve finally decided to step up and join the fray. My hope is that I might be able to offer some insight to others, though I'm certainly looking to lean on your collective expertise as well.
I'll probably end up rambling a bit more than intended, but I truly hope the details here turn out to be useful for someone.🎉

So, here’s the breakdown
The Aria 40 chair was
Jessy Foto band
Jukica rever photo studio
I actually ordered the rever through Facebook $0.67/piece for the girls, $0.77/piece for the guys.
Car wax $0.40/unit
Absolut Vodka treats $22/kg (they have a Facebook page you absolutely have to check out for the specifics—feel free to ask me directly, because things like gift baskets and pralines end up costing quite a bit more...)
I'm making the thank-you notes myself :klap:
Invitations from Mihi (they're located just outside of Chicago) $1.75/piece; they are incredibly cheap. Honestly, I haven't been able to find prices this low even when traveling abroad, though normally they tend to be $3.25 or even higher.
The La Perla dress $1167 with all the bells and whistles included. I have to admit, while I generally feel wedding dress rentals are overpriced, seeing a price tag of $1167 in San Francisco really caught me off guard, especially since everyone had been talking about different rates and service levels.

I'm not sure how much of a trek it is for you to head up toward Sinj, but you could find much better deals there; I actually stumbled upon some gorgeous gowns up that way priced around $2,500.
But honestly, your budget really depends on what you're actually looking for.
For instance, I found some much pricier dresses at Lipoto than what I saw at La Perla, yet La Perla absolutely blew me away with their professionalism compared to the experience at Lipoto.

I was wondering if anyone might be able to lend me a hand here =)
Do you happen to have any idea what the price range looks like for standard cakes at delta / Bobis? I assume it all depends on my specific tastes, but I’m just looking for a rough ballpark figure.
Also, does anyone know where I can pick up those little plastic dessert trays for guests without breaking the bank?
Has anyone heard anything about the jaglac florist? I know Radan is fantastic, but does anyone actually know what their pricing is like?
And finally, if anyone could recommend a singer for a church ceremony, I would be incredibly grateful.
I realize this is a bit of a barrage of questions, but I would truly appreciate any insight you can offer.🙂

I was actually planning on heading up that way since I heard the prices were decent.
Wait, is La Perla located in Sinj?
