So I was out at this wedding in Little Rock over the weekend at the Pearl restaurant! Man, the food was freaking incredible, and the staff were on pointβ€”totally attentive, constantly topping off your plate if they saw you were running low, and if you needed anything at all, they had it to you in like, two seconds flat...
Anyway, highly recommend them!

Glad to hear that. We actually just booked that same restaurant ourselves.πŸ™‚

Hey everyone! πŸ™‚

Just one quick question to kick things off 😁

Does anyone happen to know how far in advance venues in Des Moines and the surrounding areas get booked up? Like, how early should I be looking to reserve a spot, and if we showed up right now, which dates would probably already be slammed?

Hey everyone! Does anyone happen to have the number for that makeup artist, Dari? If you could shoot me a DM with it, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!!πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰

It gets incredibly busy in the Midwest. If you don't have a specific plan yet, you might find something for this year, but typically these places are booked out a year or even eighteen months in advance.

Oh, I think we'll be all set then! We're looking at October next year. Any tips on where would be a good spot to visit?

That should be plenty of time.. πŸ™‚

Well.. it all comes down to your personal taste and how much square footage you actually need..

Do you have a list of venues in mind? I have been to a few halls myself.. It is best to tour them all, ask the right questions, and then make a calculated decision.πŸ˜‰

I don't think it's gonna be some massive blowout wedding since my side of the family probably won't even hit 100 people. Maybe we'll barely scrape 50! 😬

Honestly, I'm leaning towards Peric right nowβ€”I actually went to one of their weddings once before πŸ™‚
As for bands, my top pick is definitely 100 percent them, though I still need to do a little more digging...

Does anyone happen to know the menu prices over at Admiral in VK? If you could drop a list of the dishes here, I’d really appreciate it. I’ve tried calling them a few times, but I can’t seem to get anyone on the line... Anyway, I'm currently in the middle of the city in the US

So what’s the total headcount? If it's a small wedding, wouldn't Peric be overkill? I haven't heard of those bands, so I have nothing to say about them. πŸ™‚

I mean, I don't think we're looking at a tiny wedding, especially since his family is actually huge...

Since we're both stuck here in NYC, we sent his dad out on a scouting mission to check out venues, pricing, and all that good stuff. Once he reports back, we'll pick our favorites and go visit them in person to finalize everything!

Ugh, I’m low-key stressing about how I'm going to manage all this planning from NYC while everything is happening out in the Midwest 😡 😁

That isn't your issue. It’s more about whether you have someone competent to handle the oversight for you rather than doing it yourselves.

Jason Howard5 said:Hey ladies,

Quick questionβ€”has anyone here actually tried making DIY invitations using test tubes? If so, where on earth did you find them and how much did they set you back?

Adobe in Savannah makes test tube invites. They’re great and come in every color imaginable.

The price really depends on which menu you pick. The most expensive one usually runs about $75, and if I recall correctly, that covers soup, roast meat, sauce, pork, lamb, salad, dessert, and wineβ€”but you should probably double-check that yourself. That’s basically everything I know. πŸ˜‰

Does anyone know where I can rent a Maggie Sottero gown in the Midwest, and what kind of price tag am I looking at?

You can find them at Lisa's shops in St. Louis and PZβ€”though as for the actual rental rates, I haven't the slightest clue.🀷

Yeah, that’s exactly what I had in mind. Thanks so much!
I've been picturing something just like thatβ€”having some actual photos would be amazing...😍
Do you happen to know where they're from, or maybe if you have an idea of what the rental costs might look like?

Don't mention it.πŸ˜‰
I don't have all the specificsβ€”I just happened to stumble upon that site recently. You'll find an email address and a cell number listed below; once you've had a chance to look into the situation, let us know what you find.😁

Edit: It might actually be this guyβ€”check out the first post here...

Hello, would anyone happen to have a recommendation for a talented makeup artist in the Indianapolis area? I would be most grateful... πŸ˜‰

Hey ladies, does anyone have a good photographer recommendation in Savannah? I think a quick zoom shot would be perfect for me right now! 🀷
