As far as I knew, the newlyweds usually pick up the tab for the band's dinner...

Ugh... we totally blanked on what we actually agreed to pay them 😂 🙈
I went ahead and converted everything into dollars in my planner and wrote down $11,000, rounding up just to be safe... but now we're both just sitting here clueless 🤣

Only I could pull something this clumsy 😁

😁 Honestly, if there’s no live band, they usually charge 1,100 $0.00, but what does your total end up being? For me, it'll probably be around $333 + 1,200 + dinner for the six of them = about 1,500 $0.00. Plus, I have to feed the photographer and the videographer too, right? Maybe I should just stop writing everything down! 😁🙂

I’m not totally sure about the Zamp thing—I think it just scales based on the guest count—but we aren't sweating it yet 😁

Yeah, from what I know, we’re covering dinner plus the band, the videographer, and the photographer. We might even end up with one of those guys from the folk group since they're buddies with the kid's brother... it adds up quick! 😁

By the way, word on the street from the folks over at Brođanka is that they heard on the radio today that Patricia's hall in a small town, USA is offering a honeymoon in Malibu to any newlyweds who book their venue before the end of the year.😍

We booked that hall, but they told us the gift only applies if you have 250 guests or more. If it's a smaller crowd, there's still some kind of perk, but I can't remember what...

Anyone here dealt with Patricia's catering over in Liberty? Also curious if anyone’s worked with Getty Images... thanks.

I'd say go with Apple over at Apple Studio. She's based out in a small town in Ohio, though, so if you don't mind the drive, she's my top pick!

It’s not even that far... 🙂 Have you ever had someone do an updo or formal hair for you before? Just because a stylist is great at cuts doesn't mean they can handle wedding hair...

Hello, ladies! I have been following this community for quite some time now, so I thought it was finally time to step out of the shadows and join the conversation... My wedding is scheduled for this July, and I have just officially kicked off the planning process 😁

So far, I have checked off the venue, the band, and the photographer from my list. Now, I am looking for some solid recommendations for makeup artists, hairstylists, and florists... Thank you!

And we're going with the Quatro Band too, 😍 though for the photographer, we actually decided on Studio 69 out of El Paso,
just so everyone who isn't in the loop knows—the wedding expo starts on January 16th at the Hilton and runs through Sunday...

Kayla, you got the dates wrong. Jan 16th is a Sunday. The fair actually kicks off on Friday the 14th and runs through the 16th... you can find the full schedule over at Chicago

Yeah... honestly, she’s done my hair countless times, and plenty of other girls I know go to her too. I’ve been going to her for, like, forever... plus, my future maid of honor says nobody else can pull off those more formal styles quite like she does...
