I'm thinking maybe an arrangement for every table, but what's the average going for these days? Pretty sure I heard something about $6.75 or so?

I honestly couldn't tell you about the pricing... what I can do is send you her contact info so you can give her a call to inquire. Alternatively, you could meet with her in person; she can walk you through her albums of floral arrangements and decor, or you could present your own vision and she can let you know what kind of budget it would require... I know for a fact she can handle just about anything. From helium balloon decor and reverences to car decorations and entrance arches—she does it all. I haven't seen her work firsthand, but I've heard nothing but glowing reviews from former brides.

Over at Bijelić's place in Indianapolis... $0.17It’s just one piece...

I ordered 150 pieces for a guest list of 250, but now I'm starting to think I overdid it... I probably should have just gone with 100.
I'm looking at three different pizza varieties for 23 tables—that brings us to 69 pieces, leaving a little extra for change... I miscalculated slightly, but whatever...

Hey there!
I figured I’d pop in here too, though I wasn't quite sure where this question would fit best—maybe among the Midwest crowd? 😉 Does anyone happen to know if any bridal boutiques in Indianapolis carry Elie Saab gowns? I was wondering if anyone out there on a wedding hunt has spotted any...?? If the selection is pretty slim, I might just have to wander around the shops in New York City instead... 🙄 I’m just absolutely obsessed with her designs...😍 On a side note, I actually moved my wedding guests from the coast over to the suburbs near Indianapolis; it's significantly more budget-friendly that way...

Ugh, Bijelić is out of stock right now. Called them up😢 looking elsewhere, though we did ask two different places if they could pull some together for us.

Not totally sure, but pretty sure you won't find them in Indy...

They managed to get me 150 units in just seven days, so maybe just hang in there a bit.
When I was talking to the warehouse manager, he mentioned that if nobody is buying the bottles, they just send them off for disposal—so you might have actually timed this perfectly—and it was my first time 🙂
but they ended up delivering them right to my door at a local pub after a week; I just picked them up, paid the bill, and that was that.

I'm planning my big day in the Midwest as well! 😂
Whereabouts are you holding it? 😂
If there is anything I can do to help, just let me know. 😂

Oh, really? That sounds absolutely wonderful! Staying at the Ritz-Carlton would honestly be the most convenient option for us, especially since we need to accommodate some used equipment, so having everything centralized there just makes sense. I’m planning to head over in March to check out the ballroom and finalize all the logistics; fingers crossed the space is still up to par, though I haven't actually set foot in that hall for nearly a decade!

Have you reached out to the hotel about the wedding yet? Like, have you guys managed to hammer out any sort of preliminary agreement or anything?

Oh, absolutely, this offer is fantastic; it works out to be about three times cheaper than what I’d find in the Midwest...🙄 So, tell me, where on earth is your wedding party hiding? 😍

Matthew Baker7 said:Well, there you have it—my little forecast regarding $28333 assuming you stick to a classic Midwestern menu. It all really boils down to your overhead—how much you’re shelling out for the photographer, the band, the rings, the tuxes, and, of course, those "connections" that make everything run smoothly. You've got the roast, the lamb, the braised meats... and I'd assume the desserts are coming from Ivankov as well. For the drinks, honestly, it might be a smart move to pick up your sodas and spirits over in Orasje—especially the stuff you want to take home (and hey, maybe grab some beer in Canada while you're at it, haha). You can always find some moonshine anywhere, and if you need numbers for someone who does bottled wine, I can certainly pass a few along to you. Anyway, my real hope is that at least 90% of the guests actually show up. I say that because, speaking from direct experience, weddings over the last year or two have been absolute nightmares for organizers. When you're looking at a guest list of 500 people, you can easily write off about 50 of them... it’s rare, truly rare, to see every single seat filled up perfectly.

Valentinovk, how did you even get all that booze across the border?! I thought they only let small amounts through! 🤷

They actually moved my post over to the Search for Tamburaš thread, but honestly, nobody is even responding there—so I’m just gonna ask again right here. Could you guys please shoot me a DM with the info for any folk bands you had play at your wedding? And I don't mean just background music, I mean a full group playing in the hall. Also, does anyone have a ballpark idea of what these groups usually charge? I already sent out a bunch of emails yesterday, but so far... crickets. Total silence. So yeah, I am begging for some help here. Our big day is October 6th, 2012, in Pasadena.

Hey everyone! Does anyone have some solid advice on where to go or how to handle wedding planning in Pasadena? I'm looking for recommendations on everything—photographers, florists, cakes, even invitations. Any tips would be amazing!

I have a question. Since I had to scrap my plans for Zelenkrov in Čepin 😢 because they require at least 160 guests, I’m looking for alternatives. Does anyone know of a nice restaurant in Đakov or somewhere nearby where I could host a wedding? 🤷 Most of those banquet halls are just way too massive for what I need. 🤷

We used the Panonia Band for ours. If you want their number, just shoot me a DM.😁

Hey there,

I was wondering what you all think about booking the Search for Tamburaš band for weddings? Does anyone know what their typical rates look like, and more importantly, how would you rate their performance quality? Feel free to shoot me a DM if you'd rather chat privately.

So, my shipment of brandy flasks finally arrived today... about 30 of them, to be exact.
They are absolutely gorgeous—each one has its own unique look.
If you guys are interested, I'll snap some photos once I'm off the clock and post them here. 😁
Actually, I’m wondering which thread would be the best place to upload these so you all can see them.

Got a photographer if you want his number, just holler. For flowers, I always hit up my local shop in the suburbs, and for cake—seriously, there's this bakery on the main strip that's killer. You can pretty much customize everything, and they'll even deliver it all set up at the venue. Their sweets are amazing.

Does anyone actually know which flowers are in season during May? Everyone keeps claiming there’s an endless variety available this time of year, but I can't name a single specific bloom. I need some actual information here. Please provide suggestions for a bouquet and some ideas for decorating a hall. Ideally, I want something simple.🙂

Hey there. May is easily one of the most diverse months when it comes to what’s actually blooming. You’ve got ranunculus, anemones, tulips, and peonies all hitting their stride at once. Honestly, if you're looking for seasonal flowers that won't break the bank, this is pretty much your sweet spot. Even calla lilies are starting to get reasonably priced around this time. On top of those seasonal heavy hitters, you still have access to the year-round staples—roses, daisies, carnations, and mini-carnations (which I notice popping up in local gardens right about now), plus lisianthus, alstroemeria, and freesias. There is a massive variety out there, really. It just comes down to how much you feel like experimenting versus sticking to the classics.
