My makeup artist, Mary, mentioned she has heard that Tihana is quite talented.🙂

Alright ladies, I’m on the hunt for a makeup artist located in the Indianapolis area—though I am open to someone willing to travel to my place. I need someone truly reliable and highly recommended. I had initially crossed Victoria off my list after doing some digging; I kept hearing these frustrating complaints about her being unreliable and failing to show up when promised 🙂... yet, on the flip side, I kept seeing glowing reviews about her talent, and I really do love her style. However, the latest horror story I heard was the final straw for me. A bride booked her nearly a year in advance, and everything seemed perfectly fine leading up to the big day—constant communication, professional reassurances, the whole nine yards. Then, on the actual wedding morning, instead of Victoria showing up, she sent some random substitute to do the makeup! 🙂 🙂 🙂
That is why I am asking for your help in finding someone vetted, dependable, and strictly professional. Thank you so much 🙂

Hey everyone,
I have a question about shopping in St. Louis. Since I went to school in New York City, I know exactly where to go for wedding supplies—things like invitations, thank-you notes, or even those little cardboard dessert boxes—but I’m feeling pretty lost here in St. Louis. I'm not sure what kind of shops carry this stuff or even what they're called around here. Any advice on where to shop, besides Good Partner?
Thanks in advance. ;-)

There's a Good Partner right where that former singer used to perform (near the grocery store over on Trpimirov)... you should be able to find everything you need there.

It’s all electronic beats now, no more traditional instruments... ☕

Hey there, my fellow Midwesterners... I was wondering if anyone living around the Pomona or Pasadena areas might have a lead on a talented makeup artist? I’m looking for someone who could come directly to my place on my wedding day to help me get ready—someone truly skilled who can handle the details when things get hectic. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! 🙂)

Does anyone have any suggestions for cakes or pastries in the Midwest, provided they aren't coming out of Grand Rapids?

We finally pulled the trigger and closed the deal late last night... The Viva Box Band—honestly, I’ve been thinking about them quite a bit lately... there's just something about their sound that stays with you, isn't there? It’s such a unique vibe, almost like they’re pulling from different eras all at once, yet keeping it totally fresh... I wonder if anyone else feels that same sense of nostalgia when they listen, or if it's just me being sentimental... anyway, they really have a way of capturing a mood that's hard to pin down, which I think is exactly why they stand out so much in the current scene... Just checking in from the East Coast...

We went to check them out, and honestly—we absolutely loved them...
Afterward, we ended up having a quick little chat with the singer—it was brief, but definitely a highlight...
I’m completely open to any and all suggestions when it comes to the repertoire—seriously, don't hold back! I'd love to hear what you all are thinking...
The rest of the band seems pretty likable, too—everyone looks like they have a great vibe...
I am honestly just so looking forward to this... 🙂

You can find him on Facebook if you really want to, but honestly? To me, Andrew Carter is just the man. 🙂 He’s snapped photos of plenty of people I know, so fingers crossed we get some coverage too!!!

I just checked out Andrew's photos and wow, they're incredible. Do you happen to know his rates for a shoot? Also, where's he based?
thanks! 🙂

Andrew is from Des Moines if I remember right, though—funny enough—I just found out he actually can't shoot 🤷 for us after all. We ended up renting a photo studio he works with sometimes, but apparently, he’s already booked for our date, which I had absolutely no clue about!!! 😢 !! Seriously though, his work is incredible; I've seen a few albums from some friends and acquaintances and they're stunning. As for his rates, I have no idea, so honestly, just shoot him a message. Prices change depending on so many different things, so you're better off just calling him directly!

You should check out Slatkica from Rushville! Their pastries are absolutely top-tier—seriously worth every bite.
They also have their own bakery over in Des Moines, which is much closer for those of us living in the Midwest, so you can easily stop by to sample or order something sweet.
You can even find them on Facebook under "Slatkica-slastice"
To be totally honest, I’m not a huge fan of the cakes from Grand Rapids anymore. They used to be some of the best around, but don't you think there are just so many higher-quality options available now?

Zachary Kim3 said:Hey there, wedding planners 🙂 finally showing up. Just read through everything from start to finish 🙂 and honestly, my brain is fried. Everyone’s got their own opinion and their own way of doing things. I’m totally lost. Anyway, I’m getting married next year and we’re already diving into the chaos. The wedding is going to be in Memphis at a local venue, but I need killer recommendations for everything else!!!
1. A super talented, creative photographer who actually has ideas so I don't have to micromanage every single pose.
2. An amazing band.
3. Makeup artists.
That’s the priority right now... I’ve already reached out to a few people and so many spots are already booked up 😢 (((
Thanks guys! :*
Hey there, I've been doing a bit of digging online, and it looks like you're the only one who actually went ahead and booked a hall down in El Paso. Was it that V&S place? Also, what did the deposit end up costing you in the end? Their website is a total mess and honestly pretty confusing to navigate. Plus, I heard a rumor that their rates are actually a little lower than what they have listed online. Thanks a bunch!

Hey, any Taylor Swifts or Beyoncés out there looking to tie the knot on June 21, 2013? Thinking we could team up on some floral arrangements or decor—something that won't wilt and die within 48 hours so we both save a few bucks. 😁 I’m actually getting married on the 22nd. 🙂

Honestly, same. It’s the one thing I haven't figured out yet, and at this point, I'm just over it. 😢 Honestly, I don't even know where to start...

Look, all I've heard about them is good stuff. You can see their reviews on Facebook and everything, but they were already booked up for my preferred dates—so seriously, you better call them ASAP if you want in!!!
