Where am I even supposed to shop now that Oltrea and Dorothy Perkins are gone? I stopped by H&M yesterday, and honestly, their plus-size selection is just complete garbage.

Wait, whaaaaaat? ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚
I was actually planning my whole week around getting some new jeans at Oltrea!
When did they close down?
Now I'm seriously stuck without a decent place to find good denim... ๐Ÿ™‚

So, Iโ€™m 44โ€”turning 45 soon enoughโ€”and for years now, Iโ€™ve been getting my compression gear from this one lady who runs her own little local shop. She basically makes everything herself. Itโ€™s become a family thing at this point; I get stuff for myself, my mom (whoโ€™s 64), and my daughter (sheโ€™s 23). Honestly? My mom looks like she lost ten years because of them. They're just really solid, high-quality pieces. Plus, they haven't done a thing to mess with my kneesโ€”not even onceโ€”so if anyone was wondering about that... yeah. I don't know anyone who hasn't found their perfect fit yet, despite how skeptical people can be about this kind of stuff. I highly recommend them, seriously.

Does anyone happen to know if Oltre pulled out of the States entirely, or are they planning to open up somewhere else?

Does anyone actually know a shop that reliably stocks tall boots with a wide calf?

You can definitely find them at Nordstrom. I picked up a pair back in Januaryโ€”real leather, though they weren't cheap...$667 and they were a total hunt to find. The sales clerk actually mentioned that you have to grab them the second the season hits because they fly off the shelves.
I was just at the Nordstrom in the mall today and they definitely have them in stock. You can also find that specific brand at Macy's downtownโ€”Brunella or something like that. Basically, look for the grey floral box and you're set.

You can actually order them from the UK via the www.evans.co.uk website. The genuine leather ones run about 90 pounds, but if you aren't looking for leather, theyโ€™re closer to 55. Even with shipping, they end up costing way less than 2,000 bucks back home.
Let me know if you need a hand with anything... I actually work for Evans.

Naked, thanks a tonโ€”I'll head over and check out both Neru and Namu ๐Ÿ‘. Trustno, thanks to you too; Iโ€™m going to see what they have in stock that I can try on right away, and then I'll figure out my next move if nothing catches my eye ๐Ÿ™‚ (though I have my sights set on their websiteโ€”they have some killer boots ๐Ÿ™‚)

Hey there! ๐Ÿ™‚
I was wondering where bigger guys can shop for clothes. Iโ€™ve been scrolling through these posts and it seems like everyone just talks about women's fashion. I need stuff for a man who wears up to a size 62 or 3XL tees, but ideally at prices that won't break the bank.

I've got one just like that ๐Ÿคฃ.

C&A, KIK, and bon-prix catalog sales. They have the best prices in the country and they always have those numbers.

I'm also looking for boots, but I need a store that's available all over the US, not just in NYC. Deichmann is way too narrow for me.

Honestly, if you want $667 custom boots made exactly how you like them, just go to a cobbler ๐Ÿคท.
So, I decided to get mine made for this fall because, I don't know, I was just tired of hunting for knee-high boots that actually fasten at the calf but aren't way too baggy around my ankle. My ankles are super narrow, so finding the right fit is such a pain! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Well, none of us have $667, right? For me, itโ€™s also $67 hard to set aside ๐Ÿคฃ.

Women can grab any boots they want from Planet, including the chunky ones for us! Yay! I just wish I had the cash ๐Ÿคฃ...

Where can I find all those little boutiques? My cousin has a birthday coming upโ€”Iโ€™ve got her number, sheโ€™s a sweetheartโ€”and I really want to pick out a nice shirt for her. I checked out C&A, but honestly, the selection was pretty underwhelming. I even swung by that Target over in East Side.

You can find them right here:

But honestly? If you ask me, the selection at C&A is way better. ๐Ÿคท

Exactly. And the quality is better too. Letโ€™s be realโ€”Target has plenty of options and I shop there myself because it's cheap. But if we're talking quality? Not really. I've tried just about everything they offer, and the only things that actually hold up are the pajamas and socks. Especially the socks. Their cotton ones for closed shoes are top-tier. But honestly, you can find good socks anywhere, and they aren't exactly the cheapest option either. Even the underwear isn't bad. But the t-shirts, pants, and sweats? Good grief.
