Dana Wilson said:That first link? It’ll handle the wet stuff just fine, though maybe not great on ice 🙂 and look, I’m basically a pro at slipping and sliding, so I only trust those rubberized Jon Boots—they're a total safe bet 🙂
Duo’s got such low-profile shoes that my Amex card practically showed up at my door and dragged me off in a totally random direction 🙂
But man, those last boots are very nice! 😍

Still on maternity leave, so don't tempt me... for now, I'm just here to lurk and read what you guys have to say. That should last until spring, and by then, I'm planning on getting back into a smaller circle myself 🤣

Those first ones just sold in my number. 🤣It’s always the same with me—I just let things sit for a while when I see something I like. I'm really not one for impulse buys—unless it's actual love at first sight, of course. I actually just picked up something from ASOS recently... Those little boots. Found one pair left in my size for those nicer trousers—grabbed them immediately. We'll see when they actually show up, but they should be good. I’m a fan of that more masculine cut. 😁 Shoes... anyway, I ended up deciding they weren't really for me. 😬Wait, I think you might have missed the actual post content here—just a username? If there was something you wanted me to rewrite, just drop it in. I'm ready when you are.

So, I’ve got these great pair of Marches—knee-high boots, actually—that I picked up at one of those clearance sales over by the old factory or somewhere like that about seven years ago. They were a total steal. Honestly, they’ve served me pretty well—no broken ankles or nasty falls—but my right one finally gave up the ghost and leaked. They still look fantastic, too—seriously, for how much mileage they've seen, they're in amazing shape—and they hold up fine in the rain, but once I step into that nasty slush? Yeah, they really show their age. 😢 I should probably build them a monument—honestly, I’ve never owned a pair of boots this durable. Even after all this time, they look like I picked them up at the mall just a few months ago. I’ll definitely be wearing them for several more years—no doubt about that—they're warm and they look great on, but for those really rough, "crisis" days? They've officially retired from that job. 😢

Like this. I saw these on a massive sale recently—around $15—but there were only about eight pairs left. According to the reviews, they’re basically the real deal. While I was sitting there debating whether or not to pull the trigger, they sold out—obviously elsewhere they're double the price. Honestly, now I'm kicking myself for not just grabbing my credit card immediately and prepping some thick socks. I really thought these would be the ultimate best friend for my feet during this unpredictable snowy weather. But hey, I guess they just weren't meant to be. 😬 I think I was just being indecisive—they were all somehow... too much. 🤣 Even if they are good—and I don't doubt that for a second.

So, what do you think about those standard rain boots, but like, if you lined them with some fuzzy faux-fur socks? Honestly, they wouldn't leak at all, and I've seen some pairs that actually look pretty sick. Obviously, though, don't expect them to save you during a blizzard out in Chicago...

I know there are some seasoned pros here who could weigh in on this.

At Rose's, they’ve still got these similar ones left—basically just the plainest versions without any extra bells and whistles, if you know what I mean; just the most classic styles possible. They're labeled #41, though honestly, they're more like #42, maybe around $117.
Personally, I'm looking for the larger sizes. 😢 There are pink ones in the 40 and 41 range (which is really more like 41 and 42), but pink just isn't my vibe. I think there might be some white ones left, too. So yeah, everything in the larger numbers.

What kind of coin are we talking about here? And are they waterproof?

They're waterproof—though the lady at the shop mentioned it’d be a good idea to take them to a cobbler to get them treated with something. She didn't specify exactly what, but any pro will know the drill; it's mostly because since they're brushed leather, you don't want them scuffing up too fast.

Here's the shop: http://www.roses-fashion-outlet.com/Brands/yellow-cab/.

Picked up some pajamas at Target today, 48/50:

http://www.kik-textilien.at/at/navi-...fanzug-16.html

$38.

The bra, $20, isn't exactly this one, but it’s super similar. It’s incredibly sweet and really holds its shape. They currently have plenty of 100C sizes available, going up to 105 D/E if anyone needs them:

Oh, and the bra actually comes with extra straps too!

Just a quick heads-up—over at Calzedonia (the Roses outlet), they’ve got those thick tights with built-in panties (the cashmere ones and the really heavy microfiber types) in various dark shades—brown, charcoal, navy, black... even some off-white if that's your thing 🙂. They actually have size 5 in stock , which is great because they don't always carry it, and we taller girls usually struggle when we try to squeeze into the shorter styles $6.25. Just thought I'd mention it
. As for the basic sheer tights—they only have skin tones and some navy polka dots in that size, so they'll arrive $4.00.

They also have some really nice men's socks (striped patterns and all that—purple, red, green, you name it). Since I'm obsessed with footwear, I always end up grabbing a bag from the men's section 🙂.

Underwear—honestly, I didn't pick up a single thing; everything was just too "out there." Clearly, I'm way too old-school for these modern trends 🤣.

Oh, and at Liscì, they have plenty of panties in sizes 44 and 46 for $3.00 and $6.25. I wasn't particularly lucky, though—their 44 is actually quite large on me (not that I have much of a backside 😢). And whenever I actually needed those specific sizes before, they were never on sale like this 🙂.

Regarding large bras (and I mean actual large cups here), they only had one 75G. Everything else was mostly D cups and below

So, I’m about 5'4" and weighing somewhere around 130 pounds, and honestly, I don't know if you'd call me "curvy" or whatever, but let's just say I definitely have thighs, hips, and visible calves—but thank Jesus, I actually have a waist! 😍 But here’s the thing: after spending years wandering through malls, I’ve finally realized that current fashion trends basically label me as "PLUS SIZE," so I have to ask—is there anyone else out there who absolutely loves comfy clothes but refuses to look like a giant, shapeless blob of wool and cotton on top? I don't know if you guys get what I mean, but I am seriously over how everything in stores is designed to hide the upper body under these massive, boxy, knee-length sweaters that just swallow you whole ☕ Where on earth can I find decent sweaters that actually drape nicely and fit a real human shape instead of looking like a literal potato sack? 😕

So I finally pulled the trigger and grabbed this mani training jacket in an XXL, and honestly? I’m kind of obsessed.

Check out the top part—it’s got this weird asymmetrical vibe with one grey sleeve and one blue one, plus zero pockets, which is totally useless if you ask me, but whatever:

Then there’s the bottom half, just solid blue: image

Oh, and if you're looking for an excuse to spend money, they've got 25% off everything right now. 😉div>

I totally feel you. Last year, I picked up some great sweaters at the Tanger Outlets (they used to be closer to the outskirts, but they moved recently). They had plenty of affordable winter tops—mostly under $33—but the higher-quality sweaters were around $200-$83. They've lasted the whole winter and still look brand new. Honestly, I'm really happy with them. They aren't baggy either—I avoid the oversized stuff because it just makes me look wider and hides the waist, which, given my height, is the one thing that actually gives me a shape.

I've also grabbed quite a few nice tops over at Nordstrom.

And way back when, I used to use La Redoute—all my sweaters are still in great shape even after nearly a decade (though I haven't ordered from them in a while). Even if they weren't the cheapest things out there, they were definitely worth the money.

Everything else lately feels like fast fashion—places like H&M and those similar shops—so I've been avoiding them lately.

Maybe try shopping online? We've talked about online stores quite a bit on this thread. Personally, I struggle with buying tops online because of the gap between my bust and my waist—I really need to try things on since my wardrobe ranges from a size 4 to a size 12. 🤣 If you aren't as heavily built as I am, you probably won't have as much trouble finding a good fit that way. 😉 It's usually cheaper, too. ASOS offers a pretty good balance of price and quality (especially their outlet section). Plus, they have petite versions, which might be perfect for you since you mentioned your height.

They're gorgeous. 😍 Luckily, wide-leg pants aren't really my thing. I tried some on at Nordstrom the other day that looked like they magically dropped my friend ten pounds just by how well they fit her (we have the same build, but our shapes are totally different). On me? 🤣. Just... 😲. Yeah, exactly. 🙂

I actually just went in for socks, tights, and maybe some snow boots for the winter. But these pants looked so good on her that I was almost ready to buy them if they promised to shed ten pounds off me too. Instead, they just made me look... well, heavier. 😬

My bad, didn't finish explaining—it's a jumpsuit, everything is one piece 😬 It has a slightly deeper V-cut on the back.

With high-waisted pants, it’s either a total disaster or you look like you lost 10 kg. At least you kept your money. 😁

It's not even the high waist—that actually looks fine on me. It’s those wide legs. I feel like I’m dragging half of downtown behind me. 🤣 Every single pair I try on. I think it's because of my hips; the fabric just swallows my legs and makes me look like two giant marshmallows. 😂

Also, I totally forgot to mention what the mailman dropped off today. 😬

Was messing around on eBay and—surprise, surprise—nobody else even bothered to bid. Snagged it for just $0.99. 🤣 Honestly, I wasn't expecting much, just a mindless little bid through the app. It’s brand new with the tags still on, so I didn't think I'd actually end up winning it solo.

image

It's a US size 18 and runs a bit wide, but it works out fine if I just pull it down over my hips. It fits my figure nicely, and the length is exactly what I was looking for. Might take it to a tailor to get it taken in—we'll see how much I grow by the time the warmer weather hits.

That bit at the bottom is all held together with thick white thread 😍. Well, there you have it—now I’ve got something floral in my closet too. 🤣

I just picked up a winter jacket from Target... and I am seriously loving it. They actually had a great selection to choose from too.$167...Some were marked down for $50, but honestly, they were pretty ugly. There were also options for $133. It’s not one of those bulky, puffy ones that makes you look huge, either. It hits right past the hips and has a hood... it's perfect.

They even had sizes up to a 22.
