Of course, go with the new GTX 1050 Ti. You get a full three-year warranty, it’s noticeably more power-efficient, and honestly, the R9 380 isn't even stronger than it.

This one is definitely the better deal.

This one is a much better deal for you.

Thanks for jumping in with the helpful info.👍
But wait, the one you suggested only has 2 GB, while the ones above have 4 GB. Isn't it worth grabbing the 4 GB version?
At least from what I can see on that link.

For that price, you can grab a GTX 1050 Ti too.

This one is actually the better deal for you.

How is that a better deal, Timothy Kim60? For $13 you're getting 2 extra gigs of VRAM and a Ti instead of a non-Ti.🍿

So, which one am I actually supposed to grab? Honestly, I’m totally lost here.🤔
To me, they all look pretty much identical.😁

Timothy Kim60: I guess we should probably take a look at this.
Robert Rodriguez2 said:I guess this is the product page for that EVGA card. It looks like a pretty standard listing for the GTX 1050 Ti.
For that kind of money, you might as well just grab a GTX 1050 Ti. I guess it’s worth considering.

Adam Moore3 said:I guess it depends on which version of The New Guy fruit you're looking at—which one actually seems like a better deal? $13 So, you get an extra 2GB of VRAM and the Ti version instead of the non-Ti model. I guess that makes sense. 🍿

Maybe you can see why someone might have gotten confused there. 😛 The Description says it's a GTX 1050 Ti, but I guess it's actually just a GTX 1050.

This one's the cheapest option that still comes with a 3-year warranty (unless you count that loud-as-hell low-profile model).

I guess this is just a basic listing for an EVGA GTX 1050 Ti Mini. It seems pretty straightforward, though I suppose you could look for better deals elsewhere if you're feeling adventurous.

I could have sworn the link specifically mentioned the GTX 1050 Ti. It’s obvious you’re going to go with that version instead.

Just grab the one Robert Rodriguez2 linked; it’s about $50 cheaper$20 at CNN compared to other places.

EVGA is a solid choice if you plan on registering it, since you get a 5-year warranty—though if you buy through a third party, you're stuck with just 2 years.

So, is this the one? I noticed some versions have dual fans while this one just has a single fan.
I think I'll just pull the trigger on this one then. Thanks for the help, everyone!👍

Hey, it's me again😁
Sorry I haven't checked in for a bit, but I’m back because I seriously need to pick your brains one more time.
So, right before I was settling on that GTX 1050 Ti you guys suggested, I hit a little
jackpot, and now I’ve got $567 sitting in my pocket. Now I have a bit of a "problem"—which one should I actually grab?
I'll be the first to admit, I'm not exactly a genius when it comes to this stuff🤔
Looking at what I can afford, I found these two cards over on CNN...
https://www.cnn.com/graphics-card...m_medium=click
https://www.cnn.com/gigabyte-video...m_medium=click

They're basically the same price. I was originally leaning toward the GeForce GTX 1060 3, but then I stumbled upon this other one😁
I'm planning to pull the trigger tonight as soon as I get home from work.
My budget started out at maybe $100, then bumped up to $120, and now suddenly I'm looking at $170—so there we go.
I really don't want to go any higher than that, and honestly, I can't. Thanks for bearing with me and sorry for being such a pain😁

For that kind of money, you really want the RX 570, except it’s sold out everywhere right now. If I were you, I'd just hang tight for a bit—maybe give a couple of online retailers a call to see if they're getting more stock soon. Between those two options, definitely go with the 1060; the 470 is just weaker.
I'm telling you, the RX 570 is the way to go on this budget, so it might be best to just wait a little while.😉

Word on the street is we might see some availability issues coming up within the next eight months—if not sooner.

Honestly, he should just grab that EVGA card and register it now to lock in that five-year warranty.

Man, I think I'm just gonna pull the trigger on this 1060, sign up for that account like you suggested, and call it a day. That sounds like a solid plan to me.
Look, I’m really not some hardcore pro gamer with a massive list of demands. I’m actually placing my order tonight, so in a few days, I'll make sure to drop
some photos right here in the thread, just so nobody thinks I'm just hanging around here being a nuisance without actually buying anything. 😁

That’s too bad. That RX 570 was going for about $500, which would've been an absolute steal. If they don't drop the price to 8, I'll probably just grab the GeForce GTX 1060 3 instead. 🤷

Man, I’m honestly losing my mind just looking at the price tag on this $567😁
I’ve been stuck in this endless loop of reading reviews and specs for months now, trying to figure out what actually makes sense to buy.
Last night, I had this crazy dream where I was right in the middle of a Battlefield match
in the heat of the action, and suddenly I see this HUD element showing me how low my
FPS was dropping. It felt like some weird cosmic sign telling me that I’ve officially burned out and I need to just pull the trigger on an upgrade
so I can finally relax and stop stressing about it. 😁 I seriously don't know how you guys deal with all this tension without losing it:klap:

Look, if you aren't planning on registering your EVGA, you can easily find $3.25 more MSI options with a solid 3-year warranty here in the States.

@Adam Moore3/">@@Adam Moore3

At the end of the day, if the RX 570 isn't significantly cheaper than the GeForce GTX 1060 3, then there isn't really a clear winner; it just comes down to preference. Up until recently, you could snag a 470 for around $500, while the 1060 3GB was sitting near $190, so the choice was obvious. But if demand stays this high, AMD might struggle to undercut Nvidia's pricing for a while.

It’s true, the 470 was always the weaker, budget-friendly option. The 570 is much closer to the performance levels of the 1060; they're basically in the same ballpark. Click Plus, it's newer and packs an extra gig of VRAM. It isn't a massive game-changer, but hey, it could definitely help out. So, if it's around $1600ish, the 570 would be a solid pick—I'd honestly lean toward that over the 1060 any day.

So, I somehow ended up with some unexpected cash sitting in my account, which means I’m definitely not settling for anything less than a $567 when it comes to picking out a
card—this is going to be such a massive win for me. I'll be sure to get everything registered once the
actually shows up, and honestly, having that 5-year warranty sounds like an absolute dream. I'm gonna try to knock out the order right now using my phone 👍

👍 Edit: Alright, the order is officially placed!
It says shipping should take about 3 to 5 days, and the total came to $1740 including delivery. Thanks for all the help, everyone. I'll definitely post some photos once it arrives 👍

At this point, the RX 570 has caught up. When it first launched, the 1060 3GB was noticeably faster than the RX 470, but now it all really just depends on which game you're running.

Hey everyone,
Thanks so much for your online order. Unfortunately, the item you're looking for isn't currently in stock with our distributor, so we won't be able to get it in for you. Because of that, we've had to cancel your order, and nothing will be shipped out.
Best regards,

Man, I really need to go hunt down where else I can find one for $567. My budget is pretty much tapped out at that price point,
and since I'm currently running without a GPU, I'm getting seriously impatient here.😁
I'm looking at CNN right now and seeing a ton of graphics around that price range, but this specific item is totally out of stock!

I swear, there's a massive gap from 1,400 to $0.73... where did all those cards go? 😬
