I'm already two months late... my last one was back on December 20th. Usually, my cycle runs about 40 days. Should I just sit tight, grab a pregnancy test, or go straight to the doctor? Honestly, I'm starting to stress out... 😕

Honestly, just go ahead and buy a test. You really don't have anything to lose by knowing... haha

I had a similar experience where my period was two months late. I kept telling myself, "There's no way, there's no reason to panic over nothing," and just went about my business. Eventually, I decided to take a test just to prove to myself that I was right and that I wasn't pregnant—and then, sure enough, it came back positive.

If the test says you are, then you probably are. If not, maybe try one more just to be certain. Either way, I'd suggest making an appointment with your OB-GYN soon. Like I said, you aren't losing anything here, except maybe a little bit of peace of mind.

Of course you should take a test first.

So, the test came back negative. Now I’ve got this reddish discharge showing up today, which I'm really hoping is just my period finally making an appearance...😕

I just ran another test, and yep—negative again. And then, right on cue, my period started that very same day.
Thank God!
From here on out, I'm definitely going to be more careful about what I'm doing. 👍
Best to you all!

how much money did you end up blowing on all those tests?🤣

A close friend of mine actually tested positive when she definitely wasn't

The whole point of this test is to get you to book an appointment with a gynecologist...
I guess since turning 25, I’ve only been to see one, which I suppose is something to brag about; my husband basically had to drag me there 🤣
Now, I’m actually looking forward to going, and I honestly don't care at all if things get a little messy down there... 😬

I’m dealing with something pretty frustrating. I’ve always had irregular cycles—sometimes my period would be delayed by nearly a month—so I ended up on birth control for two years just to regulate things. For health reasons, I eventually had to stop taking them. Since then, my cycle has been all over the place; once it arrived two weeks early, then two weeks late, and now I’m facing a full three-week delay. Honestly, the panic is starting to set in. I’m naturally very thin, and I recently went through a breakup about a month ago, so the stress levels have been through the roof. Regarding intimacy, we were always extremely careful. We used condoms almost every single time, and we even checked them to make sure nothing broke—they never failed us. There were only three instances where we didn't use protection, but even then, he pulled out well before finishing. I’m genuinely terrified of seeing a gynecologist because I’m scared of what they might tell me... Is it actually possible to be pregnant if he never finished inside me?

It's technically possible, but honestly, I think your real issue is being underweight, which throws your hormones out of whack and probably prevents you from ovulating regularly.
Try to be pragmatic here: are you actually going to be any less pregnant if you skip the doctor? For me, the crushing uncertainty would kill me way faster than the actual reality of the situation. Just go, face the music, whatever the answer is, and start dealing with it! That’s what being an adult is about—facing things head-on. It's the mature, serious, and healthiest way to handle this. You’ll feel an instant sense of relief the second you walk out of that office. Focus on yourself and getting your health back on track; that’s the best way to move past a breakup. Hang in there, stay brave, and be smart.😘

Thanks. I suppose I’ll give my OB-GYN a call sometime today, or maybe tomorrow, or the day after that...
I’m just hoping it’s all stemming from being underweight and dealing with stress...
Thanks.😘

Can someone please tell me when back pain usually kicks in during pregnancy? For the last 10 days or so, my lower back has been absolutely killing me. It doesn't matter if I'm sitting, walking, or lying down—I just can't get comfortable. My doctor handed me some pills and basically called it a day. No real explanation, no thorough exam, nothing. Just "take these."
My last period was February 11th, and right before that, I actually went to see an OB-GYN who told me I wasn't pregnant. Now my back is throbbing, I'm feeling a bit nauseous, and honestly, I'm starting to freak out about what's going on. Thanks in advance.

My back started acting up toward the end of my second trimester. So, yeah, having back pain that early isn't really a telltale sign of pregnancy!

I’ve reached that stage where the pain is just constant. It’s become such a background noise in my life that I don't even notice it anymore... it all started somewhere around the four or five-month mark.

I used to deal with that pain myself, but honestly, stretching exercises and sleeping with a pillow between your knees makes all the difference... I haven't felt it in ages.

My back started acting up about six weeks in—and honestly, the pain dragged on all the way until week 18—but I should probably mention that I’ve always been a complete disaster when it comes to spinal health😬 so I'm hardly a textbook case here (I'm dealing with a herniated disc and two protrusions🤣)
