Thatโ€™s basically how I see it too ๐Ÿค”

I picked up the Micro version before and it was roughly $30โ€”so maybe the Daft Punk set would run me about $50??

Does anyone actually have the inside scoop on this??

I picked those up ages ago, but if I remember right, the Micro version was around $36 and the Daft Punk set was closer to $60.$23 Maybe $66 for Skyn and $90 for John Doe. Let me check where I saw that, just a sec.

Edit: Actually, scratch that. I have no clue. ๐Ÿ˜ I can't find it anywhere. ๐Ÿ˜ No, don't worry about it.

I finally tracked down the thread I was looking for. Here is a massive collection of tests and comparisons; I wanted to highlight this specific post:

So, about three days ago, I was expecting my period to startโ€”I actually noticed a few drops of blood, so I went ahead and put a pad onโ€”but then everything just... stopped. It hasn't come back since. This has honestly never happened to me before, and Iโ€™m usually quite regular with my cycle. ๐Ÿ˜•

My boyfriend and I always use condoms, and we haven't ever seen one break or anything, though I don't exactly go around inspecting them afterwardโ€”and, I guess, he isn't exactly an expert when it comes to using them properly, which makes me a little nervous.

There are so many threads about this... just do a little digging... and go buy a test, girl!

My cycle usually runs about 28 daysโ€”or so I think. Well, three days ago marked day 28 for me, and my last time having intercourse was back on day 20. If, by some chance, that happened to be right around when I was ovulating... I wonder if a test might actually show something now, or if I really should just sit tight and wait for maybe 14 days or so?

you can totally take a test once you're actually due for your period...

Iโ€™m a little confused, honestly. Iโ€™m definitely one of those people who avoids taking testsโ€”Iโ€™d much rather just not think about it and then be pleasantly surprised when I realize I'm actually two weeks late...

But I finally took one this morning because my throat is super sore and it's really bothering me. I wanted to take some Klavocin or maybe another antibiotic I have lying around from last time, but I didn't want to risk hurting the baby at all if there actually is one... the test was negative ๐Ÿ™‚ though I guess maybe I just took it too early.๐Ÿ˜›My last period started on May 20th, 2007, and since I've had two cycles following my D&C, things haven't really stabilized yet; my first period was 35 days after, and the second was closer to 45 days... I don't really know much about testing, and I definitely don't have the energy to read through 62 pages of info on the subject, so I figured I'd just ask you guys who actually know what you're doing...๐Ÿ™‚

...it's pretty simple...don't just go grabbing antibiotics on your own whim. Definitely check with your doctor first, because there are plenty of antibiotics that are perfectly safe to take even if you are pregnant...

Look, Klavocin, Amoxil, and all those other penicillin antibiotics? You can take them without a worry. I've popped tons of them and asked every doctor under the sun, and they still push them on me. One of them is actually my cousin who's a head OB/GYN, so I stopped stressing about it.
According to them, any infection in your system (since it could turn into something worse) is way more dangerous for the baby than penicillin is.
I'm just passing on what I was told, so honestly, just call your doctor and ask so you don't suffer for nothing.

Why do you think you need an antibiotic? Are you experiencing any other symptoms? What is your temperature? There is no reason to take them; in fact, you shouldn't be indiscriminately pumping yourself full of antibiotics. Most sore throats are viral, which means antibiotics won't do anything. You're just poisoning yourself for nothing. The worst thing you can do is take antibiotics on your own without thinking, especially if you suspect you might be pregnant. Take a test, go see a doctor to have your throat examined (unfortunately, there are plenty of doctors who find it easier to prescribe an antibiotic even when it isn't necessary), and only take an antibiotic if it is truly required. And Quincy is definitely and absolutely NOT the first choice for a sore throat.

thanks girls!

I guess Iโ€™ll just tough it out for another day or two, maybe some honey, lemon, and cough drops will do the trick... if that doesn't work, I'll just retake the test and go see my doctor...๐Ÿ‘ I really don't feel like dragging myself there for something so silly, but at the same time, it's definitely bothering me...

Gargling with warm salt water is actually quite an effective remedy, if you ask me.๐Ÿ‘

So, I have a few questions, and I was hoping you experienced folks could help me figure this out... I had sex about four days after my ovulation test showed I was in my fertile window, but my partner didn't actually reach climax. Itโ€™s been 13 days since we had sex, which puts me at day 37 of my cycle, though my period usually shows up around day 35 or 36. Iโ€™m feeling pretty bloated, but honestly, that happens to me every single month right before my period starts, and I feel like it could arrive any minute now. I'm still young and really don't want to be pregnant right now, so I'm starting to panic a little... Is it actually possible to get pregnant after seeing that discharge during my fertile days? Also, I noticed some white discharge yesterday, but that's something that happens to me every time right before my period hits. I haven't noticed anything else, like changes in urination or my nipples, or anything like that. Please, if anyone can help or even just offer a comment, I'd really appreciate it... thanks in advance!!

It's possible. From what I can see, your cycles are long enough that you can't pinpoint ovulation exactlyโ€”mine is the same way. But look, don't stress yet. You won't feel any pregnancy symptoms only 13 days after the fact. The egg implants after about 6 days, and gastrulationโ€”where the basics for organs formโ€”doesn't happen until around day 19. So, even though this is the "buy a test" thread, it's way too early for you. Honestly, it doesn't even look like you're late yet. Just hang tight and chill out. Read through the old posts here; stressing will only push your period back further. Good luck.๐Ÿ˜˜

Thanks, Linda Rodriguez38, but Iโ€™m wondering if that discharge actually means anything... could it be my ovulation window? Because I noticed it a few days ago too...

Vaginal discharge can happen before, after, or just whenever you feel like it. It's an incredibly individual thing and certainly isn't some reliable metric you can use to draw any meaningful conclusions. You should probably just wait a bit longer before picking up a pregnancy test, or better yet, just head to your OB-GYN on Tuesday. Honestly, obsessing over it right now isn't going to help you get pregnant any faster. ๐Ÿ˜‰
