Looking for a specialist...

Hi,

I need some advice. About a month ago, my jaw started clicking and popping. It’s actually locked up on me a few times, and the pain was so intense I almost blacked out.
I was told to try using dental pads for now and that my best bet would be to reach out to the School of Dentistry here in NYC.
If anyone else has dealt with this or can suggest a specific specialist there, I’d really appreciate the lead.

It's getting pretty urgent, so I figured I'd ask here too.

I guess you can just pick whatever doctor you want in the year, as long as they actually have an opening available.

I was wondering if anyone from the Miami area or the surrounding suburbs might be able to recommend a reliable private medical clinic. I need to get my thyroid hormone levels checked along with a full blood panel—ideally, I'd love to find a facility that has its own on-site laboratory, just so I don't have to be running all over town to a dozen different locations, which is quite a hassle when you're trying to manage things with a small child in tow. Furthermore, if it turns out my hormone levels aren't quite where they should be, it would be incredibly convenient if I could also schedule a follow-up appointment with an endocrinologist at that same clinic.
I've heard some chatter suggesting that the St. Catherine clinic in Miami is excellent; does anyone here happen to have any firsthand experience or perhaps a recommendation regarding them? 🙂 🙂 🙂

The Department of Justice (Police Academy) actually has both a dentist and a GP on site, and honestly, they're both super friendly and great at what they do, plus you almost never have to deal with any crazy lines or waiting around.

Since I’m not originally from LA but have been living in Chicago for over a year now, my husband and I are on the hunt for a solid primary care doctor somewhere in downtown Chicago. Honestly, gender doesn't matter to us, but we really need someone who isn't just going to rush through the appointment or act like they've got zero patience for actual human beings... just a normal, chill person working out of a clinic in the city center. Alright, so, sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong spot!
My MRI results just came back and they say: Disc degeneration at L4-L5 and L5-S1.
At the L4-L5 level, there's a dorsomedial disc protrusion along with an annulus lesion.
Basically, the L5 body is shifted forward over the S1, which looks like spondylolisthesis with some signs of spondylosis...
I've got an appointment scheduled with Dr. Živković over in Chicago, so I was wondering if anyone here has actually seen him? Would love to hear any experiences you guys have with neurosurgery.🤦🙂

Does anyone know where I can get an ultrasound done for a kid's heel here in LA? It’s for my 9-year-old. Ideally, I’d love to find somewhere that takes Medicare if possible.
