I am dealing with some massive issues regarding my back. Does anyone have a recommendation for a specialist in Chicago? Ideally someone in private practice. I’m certain I’ll need imaging done as well, so if you could also suggest a good place for X-rays or an MRI, I would truly appreciate it. Hvala

I’m looking for a recommendation for a psychotherapist in Chicago who specializes in sexual health issues—specifically erectile dysfunction. I’m open to private practice; my main priority is avoiding a months-long waiting list just to get an initial consultation. I need someone who can actually dedicate time to me. I’ve already run all the necessary medical tests, and everything points to the issue being psychological rather than organic.

Can anyone recommend a good GP in Chicago around the Pesćenica, Suburban neighborhood, or Central Park areas?
I'm looking for somewhere that isn't absolutely packed, and ideally, a doctor who isn't high-strung or short with people... plus, it would be great if they handle things like prescription requests via email or something similar.

I'm really hoping for somewhere that isn't absolutely packed, and hopefully someone who isn't super stressed out or cranky, you know? It would be awesome if they could handle things like prescription refills over email or something similar.

Well, if it’s not too much of a trek for you, I actually have this amazing doctor over by the Police Academy—it's just like a five-minute bus ride from the Suburban neighborhood terminal, right past the hospital. Honestly, I’m never quite sure how busy they get, but even when the waiting room looks full, I guess I never end up waiting more than ten minutes myself. Neither she nor her nurse are high-strung at all; I mean, it's hard to say which one of them is actually sweeter! I'm not totally sure if she does everything via email for prescriptions, but she definitely has an inbox, and I usually just give them a quick call to see what I need. The nurse is always super helpful and gets back to me right away, as long as they aren't on a break or caught up in something else.

Crowds? Never heard of them. Even when people show up, I never wait longer than 10 minutes. Neither she nor the nurse are high-strung—honestly, you can't even tell which one is nicer. I'm not sure if she handles prescription requests via email, but she has one; I usually just call to ask for what I need (the nurse gets back to me immediately unless she's on break or busy).

It's a bit of a trek for me, but if there aren't any crowds, it'd be way faster to go see her than sitting around waiting an hour and a half or two (like I am right now)
could you please DM me her info?

I’m looking for some solid recommendations for a GP around Runjanin Street. I’d much prefer someone in that immediate area rather than over on New Road, mostly because I work right near Runjanin and it would be way more convenient. 😉 To be honest, I’m not exactly a frequent flyer at the doctor's office, but I want to make sure that if—God forbid—I do need something, I have someone reliable who won't make a huge production out of the basics, like handling prescriptions, referrals, or medical excuses. Ideally, I’d love to find someone middle-aged; I’m really looking for someone I can stick with for the next 10 to 15 years. Once a great doctor retires, finding a good replacement is always such a headache, so I’d love to get this settled and not have to worry about it again for a long time.

The practitioners I would personally recommend aren't currently accepting new patients (I have verified this myself). I am aware that Dr. Kršek is always taking new patients, but I certainly wouldn't recommend her.. ☕

I went to Šalat once, and honestly, everything was totally fine.

I haven't actually been to a private clinic, but honestly, I’m super happy with the care at Šalat. The doctor was so sweet and really took her time with me—she didn't just try to rush me out the door to get to the next patient, which I really appreciated! 👍
The only real downside is that you have to wait about four months just to snag an appointment...
