The only private facility in the US specializing in cutting-edge spine surgery and diagnostics is Vertebralis. Then there's Lumbago—they focus more on pain management and similar methods; they're relatively new, so we don't fully know the long-term results yet, though the theory behind them sounds pretty solid to me.

Either way, definitely look into minimally invasive spine surgery.

I was wondering if anyone here has had any experience seeing Dr. Mio Gverić, the dermatologist based out in San Diego? If it helps provide context, I’m looking for some specialized dermatological advice regarding seborrheic dermatitis and a potentially concerning mole that has recently started changing shape. 🤷

Since my skin is pretty pale, I tend to have quite a few moles. I went to see a dermatologist recently to get them checked out, but the whole exam felt rushed—it was like she did a "supersonic" scan in about thirty seconds flat. 🙄 Everything is fine, apparently.

That said, I’d really prefer to see a doctor who will actually take the time to examine every single EVERY SINGLE mole, and properly use a dermatoscope to look closely.

Are there actually any specialists like that in Chicago? 🤷

I think I might need a little assistance here. Ever since I moved to Chicago, I transferred my medical records over to Martić's to see a young doctor—though, to be honest, I can't quite recall her full name anymore (if I remember correctly, she had two surnames). Her office is located on the ground floor of a building on Martić's, specifically in the left wing of the hallway. She was practicing there at least a few years ago, though I suppose things might have changed since then. I’m really just trying to track down her name so I can check her hours and figure out how to book an appointment. Since I don't live in Downtown Chicago anymore, it isn't particularly easy for me to just drop by to ask. If anyone happens to know who she is, I would truly appreciate the help.

It felt like she just took a quick glance and told me there was maybe a fifty-fifty chance things were okay, then told me not to worry too much. 🙄 Surely we shouldn't both be seeing the same person? 😲

I’m really looking for someone who actually treats people like human beings and isn't stingy when it comes to using enough anesthesia or numbing injections.
