So... we're hanging out this Wednesday, June 3rd. Let's meet up at 4:00 PM right in front of the statue in downtown Chicago. From there, we'll just head wherever the vibe takes us.

Just a heads-up, the next day is a holiday, so you'll have plenty of time to get all your errands and stuff done. 🙂

Do you think there’s enough room for one more new face this Wednesday?

I tend to get a little anxious when it comes to joining a larger group where I don't know a soul, so it usually takes me a bit longer to work up the nerve for stuff like this. I actually planned on heading out somewhere with the USovca folks this weekend, but naturally, I ended up having a total chicken-out moment at the last second 🐔 But I really want to push myself to finally get out of the house and meet some new people...

We’re always taking in new stuff. Just swing by. 🙂 I'll have a few more coming in soon, so 🙂 don't even worry about it.

We usually end up with about five to seven people in the group... so yeah, there’s always plenty of interesting stuff to talk about.

At Lone Hearts, they show up in groups of 20 or 25 just to hang out, so yeah, it’s totally overwhelming. 😁 Around here, you're lucky if you get 10 people tops.

Oh man, I totally remember how I felt the first time—I was just as terrified as you, walking into a room full of strangers and all that 🕺 but honestly, I had such a blast... everyone is incredibly kind and open, there's really nothing to be nervous about. Just show up and see for yourself, you definitely won't regret it 🎉

Same here. I almost bailed on my first outing, but I sucked it up and went anyway. Now, I'm pretty much here every single time.

Please... in the States, you can always find someone to talk to. Even if there's a huge crowd, you're really only ever vibing with two or three people at a time anyway. Even if you know everyone personally, it just doesn't work any other way.

I actually ran into a Master at a US meetup once, so I managed to dodge that bullet. 😁

For anyone who missed the update, we’re hanging out at Grand Central Station by the horse statue today at 4:00 PM. Come say hi! 🙂

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who showed up. I had a blast—it was honestly such a great time. Let’s definitely do this again soon.

Honestly, we could probably pull something together at Central Park pretty soon {since being out in the greenery is way more relaxing anyway}
