Look, ten bucks isn't exactly breaking the bank... which day works best for you? Let's pick a time and iron out the details.

If they're just as rude in person as they are in this chat, it's probably best to stay home.

A reasonable person isn't going to bother trying with people who treat them like trash. You had your chance and you blew it. Chaos!

I watch the fireworks from my window every single year. 🕺
I know every single inch of Central Park like the back of my hand. But honestly, saying Let's meet at Central Park is way too vague—it doesn't mean anything.
My one rule is that we don't meet where there's some massive crowd and blasting music so loud you can't even hear the person standing right next to you.

So what, you tryna hire me as your personal bodyguard or something??? 😒

Look, the meetup’s gonna be at Central Park or somewhere right by there for a picnic, because it’s definitely gonna be loud... you can count on that. You already know how quiet their rallies are, and honestly, hardly anyone even shows up to Central Park with all those different kinds of four-legged pets 🙄

The schedule says everything kicks off at 9, but looking at this link, the actual fireworks don't even start until midnight.
I can already tell the biggest headache for everyone showing up is going to be the absolute nightmare of finding a ride or dealing with zero public transit options. 🕺

I say we all touch base throughout the day tomorrow—including anyone else thinking about swinging by—and then we can scout out the perfect spot to meet up...

Alright, fine. But when exactly are we doing this?

So, I’m thinking Friday might be our best bet... you know, just to dodge those crazy rush hour crowds? If you ask me, we should aim for sometime in the early evening—maybe around 6:30, 7:00, or even 7:30. Something like that. We could meet up near a corner bodega or a convenience store so we can grab some snacks to munch on while we hang out.

I think there’s a shop right around there. Personally, I’m fine meeting in front of the main entrance; that seems like the most logical spot to me. 🤷
And let's aim for no earlier than 7:00 or 8:00 PM—that way I can squeeze in a quick swim first, though I never really bother with it.
I definitely won't be heading out while the sun is still beating down. 🥳

There's plenty of shops all around Central Park, some of them even stay open until 10 PM (Walmart). No trouble grabbing food or drinks...

Well, that sounds great then. 🎉🎉
Just wondering, do you guys smoke when you hang out? 🤦
Just asking for... reasons. 🕺

My train gets in at 6:30 PM. Is anyone heading from Main Street toward Central Park by bus? 🤔 Also, how long are you all planning on hanging out?

If we settle on a plan later, swing by my place first, then we can head to Central Park... 🙂
As for getting rides, if anyone's looking to hitch a ride, there's usually someone else looking for a pair, but most people either aren't allowed to drink or just don't touch the stuff... 😁

Entry is $3.25. (Or so I heard)
