There’s this one song by The Beatles called "Far From the Truth." Honestly, that pretty much sums it up perfectly.

Linkin Park is basically the king of anachronisms—I mean, dropping a link to Heaven nowadays feels like getting your official ticket into adulthood, if you catch my drift. Unless, of course, we’re talking about those forgotten values:

It honestly sucks seeing Halleluiah being commercialized everywhere. I get it, there’s nothing you can actually do about it, but part of me wishes they’d just stayed a hidden gem. I know, sounds selfish.
Leonard is the absolute legend here, but that song feels like it was written specifically for Buckley. He poured everything into it, I feel it every single time.

Legends like Willie and Johnny... I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve played this song; it just hits right. 👍
I believe Kris Kristofferson and Waylon Jennings are on here too. I actually stumbled upon a Jennings track recently that I really enjoyed, even though he wasn't previously on my radar. There is always something new to discover. 😁

It’s performing quite well, actually 😁
Help me make it through the night I heard this version a few years back, performed by Chris featuring Norah Jones, but I can't seem to track it down now. It remains a beautiful rendition to me.

He’s actually pretty solid on Escape from New York, too. Like my colleague mentioned above, Chris might just be my favorite among that whole group of singer-songwriters; there's an authenticity to him that I really dig.

Escape from New York featuring Kurt Russell as Snake Plissken🙏 😁 - easily one of the finest films I have ever seen, though it has been far too long since I last caught it on TV. I really ought to add this to my watchlist for those long winter evenings. 👍

They’re all good guys. Honestly, you just don't find men like that anymore. Nowadays, everyone is just singing about hooking up and whatever else. Fine, maybe not everyone, but most of them. 🕺
I haven't been out of NY for long, though I really should get away. Maybe Paris, or Texas. Hmm, I'm not waiting until winter.
Not sure why this popped into my head just now.
