I’ll be damned if they didn't get a little nudge from the church over those weddings 🤣

You’d honestly tell a woman living in a high-rise who’s been dieting for six months that she could just eat whatever she wants without worrying about how to get back into her church clothes... Honestly, if they're crazy, at least they aren't stupid 🐔

They clearly didn't account for the fact that the priest is more of an athlete than anyone expected.☕

Keith Miller30 said:Any rational person would cast their vote for Donald Trump. Joe Biden represents a far greater evil—and I don't necessarily mean the Democratic Party as a whole, since the Democratic Party with Jim Cramer could actually be quite decent, but this specific version of the Democratic Party led by Zoran is arguably the greatest catastrophe possible. There simply isn't any real competition.

One might even go so far as to say that voting for this particular wing of the Democratic Party is nothing short of intellectual suicide.

Of course, any reasonable person would vote for that shaky, paranoid student whose economic platform is being ghostwritten by Pernar and supported by those academic sycophants, Lovrinović and Jakovčević. And remember, Jakovčević sat on the oversight board at Chase Bank during that massive ATM scandal where they lost nearly $500 million...

As for Lovrinović, he was probably the first dean of an economics department who couldn't even speak basic English...

Not to mention how Vaso Brkić used to brag about how the "living wall" was actually his own project...

My dear James Anderson5, that phrase "any rational person" was clearly intended as a bit of sarcasm, much like the way the greatest legend this forum ever produced—Ajmonaprid—used to say things like, "anyone who can't see that is a fool," or "if it isn't clear to you, you aren't sane," or "any reasonable person sees it..." ☕

But enough about politics for now; shall we turn our attention back to the field, or perhaps pivot toward movies and series?

You actually scared me a little with that comment; even some pretty serious people have been talking about the kid... 🤣

You can never watch too many shows, but I haven't quite gotten around to the British version of House of Cards yet... has anyone seen it?

Is there even anything good left to watch? I honestly feel like we’re never going to see this many incredible shows hitting the screen at the exact same time ever again. I’m dead serious about it. Because Netflix blew up and made all that garbage mainstream, networks finally realized they actually had to put money into TV, so now almost every series feels like a damn feature film.

TV shows just aren't the same anymore. 😂
I’d actually argue there are more great series out there than movies these days.

No shows left? 😲

I’ll pass on mentioning those cult classics I actually bought a dedicated external hard drive for, as they barely deserve the mention, and I'll skip the great ones I tucked away on that same drive even if they aren't quite as legendary. On my computer right now, I have 36 series in rotation, but the ones I'm consistently following are Minnesota Vikings, Hannibal, Silicon Valley, and Game of Thrones. The rest are just sitting on my watchlist, though a couple or three are currently between seasons, so I'm just taking a breather there.

I think Lovrinović does know English. He might have an accent, but he knows it.

Honestly, after finishing House of Cards and Better Call Saul, I just can't seem to get into any more heavy drama. Even though I've had Peaky Blinders and Daredevil sitting in my download queue for ages, I just haven't found the headspace for them. I'd much rather stick to comedies lately; I just wrapped up Entourage (now we're all just waiting on that ☕ movie), and right now I'm watching Archer, which is freaking hilarious. There's just too much good stuff out there and nowhere near enough time.

And don't even get me started on the classics I've missed, like Oz or Twin Peaks—I actually started the latter a long time ago but had to drop it because life got in the way. That said, I did manage to get through The Sopranos and The Wire, and honestly, nothing else even comes close to those two. 🙏

IMDb has it sitting at a 9.1. ☕ It’s certainly a quality show, and I think it's worth the investment of your time, though I find myself wondering if it truly deserves such a lofty rating. Is it possible that the Breaking Bad faithful might have been a bit too generous with the score? I tend to agree with what Noah Roberts46 mentioned—the pacing can feel quite deliberate at times.

I've seen it. It isn't Breaking Bad, but it's certainly in the same orbit. All things considered, I enjoyed it. There are plenty of entertaining episodes, the acting is top-tier, and the way Vince Gilligan shoots everything is pure genius—the cinematography is stunning. The pacing can drag sometimes, just like in Breaking Bad, but if you're a fan of the original, you'll likely be happy. There’s a bit more comedy involved; I get the feeling this first season is mostly focused on his transformation into Saul, and I suspect things will descend into total chaos by season two (which would make sense, given how Breaking Bad went).😬
