I think you could probably polish that one up a bit better, my friend.😁

Look, that "level 35" humor is actually top-tier; it's just a matter of having enough intellect to actually reach it...

Well, damn the news, I suppose... there’s still those old-fashioned types from the 14th century around here just spitting in the wind anyway.😳

Five whole minutes—this guy just sits there filming from his car instead of getting out to help that poor Uber driver. And get this, he’s carrying a gun, yet he’s such a coward he won't even lift a finger in an actual emergency. What's the point of having that damn piece if you're too terrified to use it...

The fire at Notre Dame is obviously a massive tragedy. Within the first 24 hours, they already confirmed half a billion in donations for the rebuild. Europe needs to step up and shell out whatever it takes so they can fix it right and fast.

Look, there's a huge difference between keeping a gun in your car for protection and actually stepping up to save someone's life like you're talking about here...

That’s exactly why—the whole point of this video is just don't carry a weapon around if you aren't actually capable of using it. For whatever reason...

It’s like an electric vacuum cleaner—if someone jumps you in a situation like that, you just pull the trigger and watch them twitch on the ground.

By the way, what is up with these kids out at night lately? It’s not normal. They’re aggressive, acting possessed, totally wasted, just prowling around looking for someone to beat up. And the police? Nowhere to be found. They don't have the manpower or the authority to actually do anything. This has always been a thing, but I have to admit, over the last two or three years, it’s become extreme. I honestly don't feel safe walking around the city at night anymore.

A buddy of mine got jumped twice while he was driving for Uber. The guy was only two years away from retirement and was doing the driving thing to stack some extra cash. The first time, three punks broke his ribs; they dragged him out of his car, kicked the life out of him, and stole his earnings. The second time, they clocked him in the head with a telescopic baton.

I haven't really been going out much these last few years, so I can't say for sure, but what you described is horrifying. I don't get why there aren't enough cops on the beat, especially since our population density makes us one of the most heavily policed areas in the country. Though, I suppose I don't know how many are being diverted to the border for migrant issues. With the warmer weather coming, things are going to get even messier when they start heading back up north...

I'm not sure how many people realize this, but hikers usually have a better idea of how many of them are lurking in the woods along certain trails. Even if they get caught, they just try to slip away again...

Man, I really hope we don't see a fire break out at Dodger Stadium anytime soon. We just can't catch a break. It feels like money just flows toward these big disasters.

I have absolutely no clue what the church is playing at this time. 🤷
Honestly, I feel like this is a bigger tragedy than half the stuff we deal with, and it breaks my heart knowing I’ll never see it in its original state since it was actually a legitimate cultural landmark.

And honestly, I’d almost feel bad for that taxi driver if he didn't work for WXBT News, because we all know how those guys are—someone should really give them a reality check.
Let’s not forget the constant blockades, keeping prices stuck in the stone age, that insufferable arrogance, and how they constantly try to crush anyone else trying to make a living.
They’re even trying to pin the price hikes on Uber!

Seriously people, just calm down already, it’d probably be easier if we all just carried weapons and shot one another instead. 🤣
Might as well let the law of the jungle take over. ☕

Noah Roberts46 said:Honestly, I’d hand out guns to everyone if it meant people didn't have to just take a beating because they're physically smaller. In this case, the guy was half the age of his attacker. It's absurd that some lowlife can throw a punch and potentially walk away scot-free while the victim is left dealing with the aftermath. Maybe people should think about that more often. Of course, legally speaking, that's a non-starter, but I wouldn't mind seeing someone finally put a bullet in a thug like that.

Arming the public makes sense only if you're living in some John Carpenter horror flick. I’ve had plenty of wild thoughts cross my mind, but "damn, maybe a bullet to the head wouldn't be so bad" has never been one of them... and I doubt it ever will be.

America is mostly chill, full of regular people who actually respect tradition and go to church, not some chaotic mess like the Bronx back in the 80s. I know those conservative clowns in Congress get a lot of hype these days, but we can't just take their delusional takes and pretend they apply to our reality...

brightpilot6 said:Why go with handguns? Why not tasers or some other alternative? They serve the exact same purpose of leveling the playing field, yet the risk to life caused by someone being clumsy or inexperienced is immeasurably lower.

By the way, given this absolute obsession with every single damn fire, we might as well just declare a national day of mourning. Since tragedy 🤦

Probably just a bunch of keyboard warriors acting like geniuses on Facebook, complaining about the Temple of Artemis after Herostratus torched it...☕.

It’s not like this is some massive tragedy that needs a national day of mourning, but we can't just sit here and act like this kind of destruction doesn't matter. Whether it’s someone messing with a neighbor's fence or destroying one of humanity's greatest masterpieces like this... it shouldn't be met with total indifference...

Most historic landmarks face some kind of wear and tear eventually; I guess it’s just that nowadays, twenty major news networks broadcast a fire live while thousands of websites obsess over it. That tends to trigger a spontaneous backlash against all that media hysteria, especially with those massive donation drives everyone keeps talking about.

It’s definitely a shame that such a beautiful, iconic cultural landmark was damaged, but I suppose it isn't the first time this has happened. It feels a bit unrealistic to expect a wooden roof to stay perfectly intact for ten thousand years. Between earthquakes, fires, or even conflicts, something was bound to happen sooner or later. The most important thing is that nobody was hurt, and they'll probably find a way to restore the building eventually.

Is it just me, or is this whole situation regarding the footage from the Mayor's trial completely insane?

There’s video of him telling his subordinates to basically manufacture a job opening just to hire one of his cronies—it’s blunt, zero subtlety, and the media reaction isn't just lukewarm; it’s practically non-existent. Then, as if it weren't obvious they're ignoring the actual crime, they pivot the entire narrative to focus on his "communication style" with staff. Like that’s the real issue here 🙏

Looking back at the last 20 years in Chicago, 😢

This guy has so much nonsense going on under his hat that, if you look at the weekly data, there's enough evidence there to land someone in federal prison for life, yet absolutely nothing happens. The news media stays silent, the justice system looks the other way, and yet the forum keeps voting for him like clockwork.
